Madea Homecoming - A Movie for the Holiday

Oh Madea

A reason for gift sharing and showing of love fast approaches us. Soon every corner of the street and every household will be filled with songs of Xmas, jingling bells, and smiling faces, and some may give sad faces due to some family drama that is bound to happen during seasons like this.

It is that time of the year when some believe in the notion that the savior Jesus Christ was born and while others see it as an avenue to take a break from work and spend more time with their loved ones. No matter the different ideas or opinions held about this period, the most important fact still remains that it's a holiday no matter how anyone may see it.

And what better way to celebrate the holiday than to spend it with your loved ones by sharing moments with them and most importantly, creating more?

A special way I would recommend is watching a movie. You know that special moment after eating a delicious meal with a nice glass of juice, when you begin to feel so calm and free, this is when I would recommend you should switch to any playing device, then watch that movie that will make you smile and laugh hard when necessary.

Did you miss Madea

One movie that cut it for me this holiday is Madea Homecoming, a nice movie from the Madea sequence created the Tyler Perry. The movie focuses on Madea and her household, filled with different funny personnel like Uncle Joe, Aunt Bam, and above all Madea herself. I can't deny the fact that I was fully flabbergasted with the turnout of the movie and most importantly the twist, despite it being a comedy movie.
As if that wasn't enough, I was overwhelmed with laughter with each scene passing by, I longed for another just to see Madea in action.

The Matriarch

Madea Homecoming also shared light on the importance of family, and how important the role family plays in the life of an individual. Building up the concept that no matter what, just bear in mind that there are a group of individuals who will always be there for you, when you need them and even when you don't. This concept alone shown in the movie gave me the idea that why choose to spend my Xmas alone when there are people who are longing for me to show my face and spend time with them.
So it is only right for me to go back and spend quality time with them.

Life is short and people grow into different shades of themselves, as Madea said to Aunt Agnes:

Children are gonna live their own lives whether we want them to or not.

Madea and Aunt Agnes

This proves that children are surely going to grow older and people will definitely evolve, so the best we could do for them as parents, guardians, or friends is to be there for them and love them no matter what.

There are several scenes from the movie that tickled my fancy, and please don't get me started on how Madea gave some edibles out to her newly found friend, Aunt Agnes when she became hooked on the good stuff. Oh my, it was quite a funny scene to watch.
I highly recommend Madea Homecoming as the must-watch for the holidays and don't forget, don't even think of watching it alone, it's the holiday for christ's sake, show some love even with the movie you may choose to watch.

Watching movies at Christmas becomes one of the family's favorite activities, ideal for creating beautiful memories. Growing up I watched a lot of Christmas movies with my parents, especially the comedy ones because they are like the most appropriate to watch with kids.

Now as an adult we watch very few of them, the tradition is lost, maybe because Christmas movies seem to me a bit... cliché without flavor, although it also has to do with the fact that I prefer to watch movies in their original language, with my parents I have to watch them translated into Spanish.

Maybe this is a good option to try to get back in the mood for movies during Christmas, apparently it's fun and I like the humor. Also, it's not a Christmas movie, so it would be like a middle ground back to movies of this commercial style, as it seems to be.

I really like comedy movies and as you describe, this is one of the good ones, I had heard of this movie but did not give it so much importance, but I think that of all the comedy movies are the most worth seeing, for the laughter they steal from us, thanks for sharing your opinion.
