Personal Growth: Implementing Positive Changes

Hello everyone,

Seven days ago, I wrote about how I hope to improve and re-discover myself. I focused on the fact that I needed to change my routine, Be Different. I also shared my strategies on how I hope to achieve this. Today, I want to share some progress from the last posts. This involves implementing positive changes in my life and pursuing my creative and passionate side.

Like I said the last time;

I've chosen to start with my productivity. I have drawn a timetable for how I want to operate my life. I want to be active on Hive again. I'm no longer consistent in what I do.

I have been able to achieve that. I've made a post every day for the last 7 days. I've also improved my engagement rate, although I know it can get better. Posting every day used to be difficult for me because I don't like to write when I'm sad or worried. These days, I write every morning when I wake up and I also try to change my mindset toward writing and content creation in general. Another helping factor is that I'm able to spread myself across various communities. For now, I'm trying to explore and partake in community activities and just make myself available.

Physical Training

I have resumed morning exercises. I jog every morning immediately after I'm done writing. It makes me productive. After exercise, I feel a strong urge to do something productive. It is difficult to lazy around. I've been thinking about registering for a Gym. I don't know if I would be able to cope but I guess it's worth the try.

This week, I also played soccer with my friends. I noticed I got exhausted quickly because I haven't done it in a long while. I have to work on that so I start playing longer times.

Chess Coaching

I haven't resumed coaching chess to kids as there are some paper works involved and it takes time, however, I've been helping my friends. I have a few of them that want to improve, so I spend an hour or two every day assisting them. Chess coaching is one thing I do that makes me happy.

My Lifestyle

I'm trying to come out a bit more. I usually spend a lot of time indoors, I'm trying to change that.

Yesterday, I went to our local chess club for the first time in 4 months. There was a match between two players who had both pride and money on the line. It was fun to watch.

Our chess club is called creekside because it is built on the creeks.

It was fun and I hope to visit more frequently now.

In Conclusion...

I have started implementing some things in my life which make me happy and bring out the creative and hardworking part of me. I hope to continue this and make it part of me. This is one of the many reasons I write it all out. Feel free to share your thoughts.
