Reasons Why Arsenal Fans Can Start Dreaming Of The Premier League Title!

I know, I know, I know.

I know many might say it's too early. They said the same thing after our exceptional pre-season matches. I'm sure they said the same thing after our opening battles against Crystal Palace and Leicester City!.... The Truth is YES, We have all it takes and we can Start DREAMING! Winning The Premier League is achievable for Arsenal and in this post, I'm going to tell you Why!

I've been an Arsenal fan since childbirth, I was born into the club. I haven't been more loyal to anything than I have to the club. I know how shitty we've been for many years now and I can recognize a change. Let's dive into reasons why I think we can challenge for the title.

Last Season

One thing everyone should know is that the fact that we fumbled top4 last season is a very important factor why we won't flop this lead. Arsenal has won 9 out of their 10 opening matches. The first ever in their history! Yes, that doesn't win the league but it surely boosts the boys confidence. Last season we lost our first 3 matches and we were languishing in the relegation zone. We managed to turn that around and we looked like we would contend for that champions league spot but inexperience played a role in the ending. This is something that I don't think will happen. The gap is 4 points now... It might as well get larger as we don't play city yet. The match against them just got postponed!

Why Arsenal vs Man City Premier League clash was postponed and when it could be rearranged

Mikel Arteta

Ah, Don't sleep on this Man. I know most coaches are passionate, However, this man is on another level. I was watching the "All or Nothing" documentary and I could see Arteta's Passion. There's a popular clip where he talks to the Man City bench yelling about the importance of winning duels. You can see it. "The Winning Mentality" - He said in our recent win against Leeds that he was happy with the way the tired boys ground out the victory.

Many can also say because he worked with Pep Guardiola, he learned alot. I see him doing wonders with this Arsenal side. I'm proud of this Arsenal side.

Have you seen Breaking Bad? Remember when Walter started partnering with Jesse?

Everyone Says Top 4 Is An Achievement!

I think this is to our advantage. Everyone says this Arsenal side would take the top 4 as a big achievement and they shouldn't worry about the title. It's too far from them they say.

I disagree but I think we can use that as a smoke screen and gun for the title after all we are the gunners!

untitled. gif

Not many saw Leicester winning the league when they did. It's the same thing that could happen to this Arsenal side! I honestly believe they can do it. The pressure is less, Everyone is downgrading them to a top 4 place.

Manchester City

I would say Manchester City has a good squad and are title challenger. I would also say if Arsenal wins the premier league, They would be one of the reasons why it happens.

I've always said I get puzzled about how man city draws or loses matches. They play the best football in the premier league but they are not invisible. Yes, Haaland has terrorized alot of defense since his arrival and is a strong favorite to win the Golden boot. However, it doesn't mean Man City will win the league. Aubameyang winning the golden boot with Arsenal didn't change anything for us.

Manchester City would still drop points this season and I think Arsenal might just drop less. To be honest, I'm more scared of the Spurs than Manchester City.

In Conclusion

Yes, Arsenal fans can dream of winning the Title, We have all it takes. Our Front Trio is Awesome. Party and Xhaka partnership is really helpful. The defense is constantly improving and we are captained by the most creative player in the squad. It's a really good Young side that can surprise everyone!

We have all it takes

but just :D

in the weekends game you could see that after the 70th minute most players were "dead". trip for the mid week, lack of rotation and pressure of Leeds that was crazy showed me that fitness could be a problem. And a lot depends of the World Cup performances and how far will some players go and how much rest will they get.

If all of the main players stay fit, we could dream.

Hi bro, well will we say it's so much of fatigue? I don't think so. The guys that needed to improve were rested. OK see the following culled from my live post:

"A few talking points:

It was not that Leeds' pressing game was something Arsenal isn't used to, but their failing was their unsatisfactory ball handling. They needed to be more intelligent when in possession.

The major culprits in the point above were the two Gabriel's– the striker keeps holding on to the ball(to dribble) for far too long for such a match where Arsenal was under pressure; the defender, as always(even last season) is not an assured fellow on the ball, when push comes to shove. Even the impressive Martinelli also was not helping matters at times holding unto the ball so much and being crowded out. Captain,Martin Ødegaard couldn't find solutions in that kind of frantic game.

Beautiful to see Arteta haul out the captain early enough, to allow the midfield maestro, Fabio Vieira, work his magic. But the faltering guys mentioned above made his work difficult. Finally and correctly Gabriel Jesus was taken off.

You need to credit Arteta for inviting Holding from the bench,to change shape to a back three(or five) once Jesus was taken off to give Leeds a more difficult route to the goal. It wasn't the only option in that circumstance, but it was a sensible, smart option.

You can't but notice that eventhough this was not the usual vintage Arsenal attacking performance, it was a master-class in how to position yourself without the ball. The boys are so well drilled on what to do or where to go without the ball(with a leader like Xhaka offering calm, that someone like me was confident they would see the match through."

My post has more on that match.

Then @samostically great times are here, at the very least it has been proclaimed ARSENAL FAITHFULS GO AND SLLEP,CHAMPIONS LEAGUE IS SURE. In that post you would notice that there is league title talk even.

Cheers

Well Brazil won't take Our forwards. I think Saka might be the only player to worry about.

But we need reinforcements. Replacements for Pepe would be good anytime soon. Oh, we loaned him coz we can't sell a big buy. Sad!

Anyway, confidence for the boys Is all that matters. I have been really happy watching them.

As a neutral, I believe winning the title is not impossible for Arsenal. However, titles are not won in October. If Arsenal are still within a shout of the top 2 by March, then they can start dreaming.

Having seen a lot of arsenal fumbles, I'm always glad seeing arsenal fans being hopeful and looking forward to the weekends again. It's good to dream, and I believe it's possible. One thing though, I pray they don't have an injury crisis cos that reserve don't look the part!

Hi, it's not just about "being hopeful". The fumbles did not happen due to spiritual attack, there were reasons that "were audible to the deaf and visible to the blind"– I mean rocket science was not even nearly needed,to lay hand on the reasons behind the fumbles.

So when you read this(ARSENAL FAITHFULS GO AND SLEEP,CHAMP LEAGUESURE),you will see it is not just blind hope, it is a well calculated expectation based on real facts.

Bro, injuries are equally applicable to all teams. Arsenal even have more players fit than most of their challengers currently. Also, the major challengers will loose more players than Arsenal to the World Cup,so pls drop this your injury theme.

Plus Arsenal is now a buying club, not a selling one as in the latter Wenger years,so they would be open to January buys, if a need arises.

Oh no, the Arsenal fans are getting their hopes filled :D
Dont get me wrong, I like Arsenal a lot but I am really not too optimistic about it at the moment. It's only 3 points to ManCity and they can be quickly be gone when a losing streak occurs :/

Am not an arsenal fan but I would love for them to win the league. I’ve watched their games and boy I always wanna watch their matches. Am one of those people who will always root for arsenal when they are playing.

I don’t support them but I have seen how Arteta has transformed the team. Last season I think they were not matured enough. Don’t get me wrong, last season’s squad were much older but they were not matured. This season we have younger players but they seem to know how to suffer.

One thing I always say is that, you can play beautiful football all you like but beautiful football won’t get you the three points. There comes a time when all you have to do is defend well and see out the game. Now I can see that maturity in Arsenal. Even if they are not able to win against the big teams they can still do it against the small ones and win the league🤞

wow! so you’re a gunner , 🤝. As an Arsenal fan I still don’t want to fully believe we are challenging for the title but after the Liverpool victory I’m starting to have second thoughts about that . I hope the boys can keep their heads high and focused . Even if they don’t win the league, they should at least qualify for the champions league.

That has always been our jinx and predicament!!

It's not bad dreaming but Arsenal FC has always lacked depth and stamina in the title race. However, anything is possible in the game of football.

On the other hand, Arteta's men have been superb so far this season. Kudos to them.

Personally, i feel it isn’t too early for Arsenal fans to start dreaming. Why shouldn't they? They have young and exciting players and they know how to get the results no matter the opposition .
If they can maintain this form going into the world cup break i see them clinching the trophy.
