A Better Title Might Be;

"Why You Should Visit Nigeria"

In today's article, I want to write about Nigeria, It is my entry to the #Dcc contest by @clixmoney where we are supporting the #Hivenaija Tag. The contest ends on the 10th January. Check the rules Here if you can still beat the clock!

Back To My Article About Nigeria....

Alot of People still say Nigeria is the Giant of Africa while some argue that Nigeria has lost that title. Many are reluctant to visit because they believe the country is not safe!
I urge you to forget what you have heard in the past! Because, I'm about to tell you some important and trending things that might convince you to make that visit

WE WOULD WELCOME YOU

Have you travelled with a Nigerian before? Or Have you visited Nigeria before?

You will discover that no matter our differences, Nigerians takes care of visitors right from the airport! Business or vacation we don't ask, what we do at first glance is to offer you help. I bet you can never be stranded in a Nigerian Airport.

I made friends with an Indian in my last travel to Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, we stayed in the same hotel and while we were talking, he made me realise how long he has stayed in Nigeria. According to him, he planned to stay for work for about three months, however, he enjoys the company he's been getting. He says, Nigerians are very inquisitive and he loved it.

It's also important to know that we welcome and respect each other too especially when rending service. In a post by @hironakamura talking about his experience with a driver from lagos, he explained that the driver taught him a way to resolve conflict. In his words,

he did really opened my mind to how to resolve conflicts by just keeping quiet.

This is an Interesting story that buttresses my point. Nigerians know how to welcome and respect you when you visit. We won't keep you waiting just because of some personal vendetta!

VARIETIES OF FOOD

If you visit Nigeria, your stay will mostly depend on what you eat right? Well, say no more because we have all it takes to keep you.

Have you had a taste of Nigerian Jollof Rice?

Well, the thing is that Nigeria has alot of foods that can make you stay here forever lol. We take care of our guests with different foods. We boast of different kind of meats too. we have Goat meats, Cow meats (Beef) , Snails and many more.. Lots of Chicken and different type of fishes, all for your satisfaction. Come to Nigeria Prepared!

ENTERTAINMENT & LIFESTYLE

Forget the fact that the country has a lot of problems. We Nigerians enjoy the very best of entertainment! And yes, you too can during your visits. Let's break the entertainment down a bit.
We Certainly have the best musicians in Africa and even in some part of Europe.

I bet you've heard of Wizkid, Davido or Tiwa Savage....
Or Most likely you've Been Vibing to Nwantiti by Ckay!

This already has 148M views on YouTube!

My friend @dmilliz would definitely agree with this Bob Marley saying;
"One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain"

This is true, That's why i enjoy this country so much. In time of weakness and bad moods, I just open my Apple music and play the Nigeria Top 100 songs!

With good Music comes happiness to live your style, Lifestyle here in Nigeria is controlled by our culture and religion. Nevertheless, we still live our life to the fullest. We party and Merry alot. You need to visit a Nigerian party!!!

The vibes alone will certainly leave an impression, A good one at that, because when you see the dances and happiness, you will definitely be happy. Your stay wouldn't feel complete without a visit to a Nigerian party.

NATURE

Probably, after the party and loud music, you would want a quiet place to watch the birds and feel nature. We've got you! There are many places to tour around Nigeria.

I recently Wrote About My Visit To The Largest sand-beach in West Africa!

20211226_144330.jpg

The place is a good place go visit to study nature. Ibeno Beach is a Very long sand beach, the water talks to you, the air also whisper to you. You will certainly love it.

Other places include, Obudu Mountain Resort in cross river state which is a very lovely sight to behold.

We have the Coconut Beach and also the Bar Beach in lagos state. I'd definitely drag you there if i know you are in Nigeria.

SECURITY

Contrary to what is on the news,Nigeria is a safe place to visit. Which country doesn't have crime? Or which country is void of terrorism? The world is not safe right?

untitled.gif

Yes! These things exist everywhere, however Nigerians like to exaggerate our situation. We have a bad government, yes that's true, but we are actually safe. For example, In lagos state, people don't sleep. The road is busy 24hours, 7days. So it really difficult to see how security is a problem. Maybe two to three years ago we had Boko haram threats, but it was all a political propaganda and it never did spread. So feel free to visit Nigeria. It's a safe and beautiful Africa country. One which I'm proud of.

Yes! I hate the government but I love my brothers and sisters. I hope someday things will be better. But like I said earlier, we would party and Merry anyway!

@selfhelp4trolls and any other person that had plans to visit, please let's kick it back in place because I'd certainly be at the airport waiting.

Thanks For Reading...

I would say it's the food for me but nope.. There are so many good things about Nigeria that makes me love my country even more. I really don't care about what people say. If I have the opportunity of travelling out or remain in Nigeria and earn in dollars, I will take the later...

Hi @samostically,
Great to see you using the #travelfeed tag! We launched the #travelfeed curated tag more than 3 years ago and have been supporting the best travel blogs on Hive ever since. But did you know that TravelFeed has evolved? Based on the feedback of thousands of Hive travel bloggers we created TravelFeed.io.

TravelFeed.io brings together all the benefits of Hive decentralized blogging with features that you as a travel blogger will love: Photo galleries, Instagram embeds, custom maps and more. We also offer many of the features you love on Peakd such as drafts and post scheduling. And if you want, you can even use our easy site builder to set up your own travel blog on your own domain which can be a great way to generate a passive income from your blog!

Unfortunately, focussing on developing the best platform for travelers means that we no longer curate the #travelfeed tag. But, you can log in with your Hive account on TravelFeed.io to publish your next travel post, and it will be posted to Hive automatically! Every day, we select the best posts and reward them with an upvote and added visibility.

We would love to see you on TravelFeed.io soon :)
