Hive Power Up Day - Alive and UP for it - are you?

I find Hive Power Up Day a tricky one. There I've said it 😄
I don't earn oodles of Hive each month and so it's a toss-up as to whether I save the Hive for the 1st of the month for the #HivePUD day or whether I power it up as I go so that I can increase my curation benefits for both myself and other authors at the earliest opportunity. But this is a community and so I have decided that I will again power up today to show that I am alive and present and supporting the initiative. Truth to be told, I think I do a little bit of both.

This is my second month of doing HivePUD and for the second month in a row I am powering up the minimum 10 Hive to earn my badge.

I'm just not yet sure whether to hold off and invest a bit more into DEC to increase my SPS airdrop in Splinterlands, power up the other 10 liquid Hive that I have and start earning improved curation rewards, or hold it and try to build a bigger liquid pot for December 1st and go for a bigger single-day power up and the 50 PUD Bee 😄I guess I don't want to have to play around with powering up and powering down again and that's why I have kept 10 Hive liquid for now. I'll decide in the next couple of days.

Then there's also the opportunity to power up somebody else that I would like to do for at least one month, but I am still considering whether that could be part of an ongoing element of my newbie contest or not. If I am alive and powering up, it would be nice to offer that opportunity to others to be able to show their presence on the blockchain too and to help them to start building their own curation rewards 🤗 I will see... my contest is tweaked each month that it runs to keep it interesting for others and for me 😂🙏 so there is scope to build something into the prize package.

For now, I am just grateful to be alive and well. Blessed to be in a position to have earned some Hive to be able to take part in #HivePUD. Happy that after a week of leave taken to spend time with my children over half-term, that I am still able to work from home which helps the environment, and saves me tons of time and money, as I don't have to take my car out on the 40-mile return journey to the office each day.
