Hi, dear friends and family at Hive Open Mic Community. Introducing me, my name is Samuel Stifen a guitarist, and my friend Frans as a Vocalist. We both are an acoustic pop band called The People People. It's unbelievable, the weekly event #openmic has entered number 137. Every day we see great talented musicians here. This proves that the Hive Open Mic weekly event is getting ahead of the curve.

So, this week's theme is “Healing”. This theme was chosen by @jaydr, a singer and guitarist in this community. I love the way he sings while playing his guitar. From this week's theme, the two of us performed a cover song entitled “Fix You” by Coldplay. This song was written by four great composers namely Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and Jonny Buckland. The four of them are the legendary Coldplay band and personnel.

We both chose this song to perform this week because the lyrics of this song contain a very touching meaning. This song seems to give a message about tips to cheer up those of us who are sad for some reason. The lyrics contained in it, tell about a life that is never constant, that is never eternal, and there is a loss in it, which makes our lives sad to the point of sinking. So that this song provides a solution to address these various problems, we are asked by this song to accept the existing situation, be sincere, and be patient.

Fix You is a genius song because the whole lyrics can make your mood better. If we look at their video clip of a live concert for this song, it's clear that Chris Martin will be running to and fro in almost every live part of his rendition of Fix You. In his performance, Chris seemed to want to remind all the pain his listeners were experiencing, and then let go of all these feelings and let it go. So when your heart is in turmoil, just listen to this song, who knows, it can ease your problem.
