Hi everyone, introducing my name is Samuel Stifen, and my friend Frans. We are an acoustic music group called The People People. We are happy to be in this #Hive community to share the acoustic music content that we play. In this post, we will share an acoustic cover song called "I Love You So" from The Walters. They are an American indie pop band formed in 2014, in Chicago. Early in their career, The Walters released a song called I Love You So on their debut album Songs for Dads. This song went viral last year because it was often used as a background for TikTok video uploads, especially for users in Indonesia.

In 2022, The Walters performed at The Sounds Project Vol.5 event held at Allianz Ecopark, Ancol, Jakarta. Initially, I wanted to go there and witness The Walters' performance live. But unfortunately, I had run out of tickets and couldn't see The Walter on stage. Even though the music event was an event that I was looking forward to. Not only The Walters, but many top artists also performed at the music event.

The song we cover today tells the story of someone who loves their partner very much but must be willing to leave their lover. Have you ever felt that way too? It seems like a difficult decision to make when you love someone so much but have to let them go. It takes a lot of strength to prioritize your partner's well-being over your own. Sometimes, walking away from your loved one is the ultimate act of love. It is a bittersweet breakup, but when it is the right thing to do, it opens up new opportunities for growth and happiness for both individuals involved.
