Well, I did not mean you can buy one of us and get the other free 😀.
It all started from an accident, one glass of the lady's spec broke slightly as it fell accidentally. So a replacement was inevitable, but it was manageable to wear at home for few days, till we did the initial homework to find out the right place. Last time she got it from Lenskart where there is always a Buy one get one offer with gold membership. But then his father took the free one. This time, she asked me to join the company and upgrade my reading glass. So far I had been managing by using plane reading glasses that are readily available, but for the sake of that free one, I thought to have a better one.
They did the eye testing and asked me to go for a 1.75 power, but then I had some real bad experience earlier. The distance at which I view the laptop is unlike the usual way one would see. I ordered a glass from Dr. Harmann's store online and that too using the eye test reports from Dr. Agarwal's clinic. At that time, they reported a power of 2.25, using their standard way. That was the first time I got my power tested.
Both are one of the best places, but finally when I got the glass, I was not comfortable wearing it because it was not clear. I got it replaced twice reducing the power by 0.25 but then they refused saying, they cannot replace it more. But one thing they did best - explain the root cause to make it clear : the distance that is maintained is the most important factor and may vary than the results found out in the ideal testing. So this has been lying idle mostly, and useful only when I view very small letters , that too I have to see it pretty close. If you ever get into the reading vision issue because of age ( usually after 40 anytime), then remember to take the test the normal way you would view the screen. Some people are habituated with seeing things pretty close so the normal eye test reports would work for them. But if you are like me, you should be very specific about your needs.
And then choosing the frame was not damn difficult, I prefer the small ones and picked this one - again I am very specific about my needs. The lady already had her power with them, so she picked a frame to replace. But that is when the game changed - one of their old sales guy came in and advised us to change the purchase plan. Since I was getting my reading glass free, the other sales guy who had been assisting us had put all sorts of add-on for my spec to match the price ( buy 1 get 1 magic). But then this new guy came in and said we should take full advantage of the scheme by having two for the lady as her spec was progressive and pretty costly. She can use either of them and I can choose another Sun glass to match my reading glass, but both would come at a far less price.
The idea stuck me very well, because the price difference was huge. Her spec was 4 times costly (17K) than mine (4K), so she got two and I got a reading glass and a Sun glass. After a long time I was glad to have such customer service - when someone thinks for you while selling their product. This way it was more sell for them, but it was equally more beneficial to us.
They advised to pick these from Store instead of delivering at home. Just to ensure, everything is all right and we are happy. They have a 14 day no questions asked replacement policy, just in case, you change your mind. I asked them to not ask anything, if I take my spec to home and find it uncomfortable. But that experienced guy was pretty confident that I will not need any replacement.
So a happy ending ? Not really !! Our boy wanted a Sun glass and did not fit into these schemes. There was no other way than to get two Sun glasses for him, paying the price of one.
He wanted a specific model which was not available on the store. But they ordered it and asked to pick up in few days and look at his face.
Two Sunglasses in 1.8k, and he is pretty happy. He had that Rayban craze, but then affordability matters.

All of you guys look good with the glasses that you picked but your wife stands out the most, shining like a Hollywood (I guess Bollywood in your case :D) superstar :) Getting new glasses is a pretty big deal, I got mine a few months ago, replacing the old ones that I wore for some five years. I picked Tommy Hilfiger this time and so far, been happy with them. But mine are much stronger than you, I have around 4 diopters in each glass :)
Tommy Hilfiger should be pretty costly. 4 diopters is a lot, I am fine with reading glasses. In fact I don't like to wear glasses, but have to use it.
As far as I remember, the total price was some 10,000 CZK, which is like 500 USD. Half of the price was the Tommy Hilfiger frame and the other half was the actual glasses. It´s not cheap, that´s right, but I really like them and I know I will wear them for years. It was actually a gift from my mum :)
