This is my contribution post for #fungfriday initiated by @ewkaw.

This week in the area where we live, it rains almost every day, especially in the middle of this month, the rainy season has started. In our country, Indonesia, we only have two seasons in one year, namely the rainy season and the dry season or what is also known as the tropical climate.

When the weather is humid like lately, many wild and unique plants will appear, as if the rainy season is their exit to enjoy the beauty of the world, one of those plants is mushrooms, around my house a lot of beautiful wild mushrooms grow automatically when the weather starts to rain often.

This is one of the mushrooms that I found in my yard, in our area this kind of mushroom is called elephant ear mushroom because it looks like an elephant's ear flapping, but I don't know the scientific name and I have searched from several sources on google, I also don't know If you find a satisfactory answer, if you know the name, please let me know in the comments below.

Around this mushroom there are also other types of mushrooms that are no less unique as shown below.

We call this mushroom straw, because basically this fungus only grows on rice straw that has been burned or that has been damp exposed to water for a long time, but this is a little unique this time this umbrella-shaped mushroom grows on the body of a dead coconut tree. and some of his skin had been burned.

If you look closely, this straw mushroom looks very beautiful and exotic, its slightly brownish color indicates that this mushroom is a little old, but this is where its beauty lies like a flower in bloom.

Then we move to the media next to it, this is a green moss mushroom, I think many of my friends are familiar with this green moss mushroom, we can find this mushroom everywhere, not only growing on living tree trunks, This fungus also grows in other damp places such as concrete, dead wood and even on the floors of old houses that are no longer occupied.

Well, the moss fungus that I photographed grows around the well in front of my house, for the people of Indonesia, especially Aceh, wells outside the house are common, and some of us still use this well for household needs such as bathing and washing clothes. , because the floor is always damp and also because of the rainwater, this moss fungus grows a lot around here.

Well, above are some types of mushrooms that are in my yard, many types of mushrooms out there that can be consumed and taste very delicious, but the types of mushrooms that I share above are not the types of mushrooms that can be consumed and which we can only enjoy is the beauty.

This is my contribution post for this week, if there are constructive criticisms and suggestions, friends, please leave them in the comments column because I am also a newcomer to HIVE.BLOG.

note: the picture above was taken using a smartphone with the help of a macro lens and I edited it using the picsart application.
