It's about a little girl who, together with her bird friends, is in charge of delivering packages and courier services around the world!
There are very big birds and very small birds... it's a pretty weird and difficult world but together they can get anywhere!

El día de hoy les traigo una pequeña ilustración con un detallado más simple…más infantil.

Se trata de una pequeña niña el cual se encarga junto a sus amigos pájaros, entregar paquetes y mensajería por el mundo!
Hay pájaros muy grandes y muy pequeños… es un mundo bastante raro y difícil pero juntos pueden llegar a donde sea!

Después de este post les compartiré el diseño de personajes a profundidad y sus escenarios!

I began to make my sketch. I wanted to make a fairly simple and easy to understand illustration. With cute and small characters, ideal for a short story.
Then I started to make the characters. My main inspiration was the fact that I wanted there to be an animal...and that he together with the human could have great adventures and could be of great help to each other. I decided to place a girl, since children tend to be very adventurous and risky, they are almost not afraid of anything. In this case she is super brave!

Comencé a realizar mi boceto. Quería hacer una ilustración bastante sencilla y fácil de entender. Con personajes lindos y pequeños, ideales para un cuento corto.

Entonces empecé a realizar a los personajes. Mi máxima inspiración fue el hecho de que quería que hubiera algún animal…y que él junto al humano pudieran tener grandes aventuras y pudieran ser de gran ayuda mutuamente. Decidí colocar a una niña ya que los niños suelen ser muy aventureros y arriesgados, casi no le tienen miedo a nada. En este caso ella es súper valiente!

Defining the sketch was the next step. Using the same brush but thinner and with pretty good precision. Really this drawing had no major complications, in the first stage I had already got it the way I wanted, that really made me very happy.

Definir el boceto era el siguiente paso. Utilizando el mismo pincel pero más delgado y con una precisión bastante buena. Realmente este dibujo no tuvo mayores complicación, en la primera etapa ya me había quedado de la manera que quería, eso realmente me hizo muy feliz.

Now came the coloring stage, my favorite but most time-consuming part. I wanted cool, greenish tones but with a little touch of warmth. I had three options, of which the last one was the one that convinced me the most.
These color swatches were made with the Watercolor Brush.

Ahora venía la etapa del coloreado, mi parte preferida pero la que más me toma tiempo. Quería tonos fríos y verdosos pero con un pequeño toque de calidez. Tenía tres opciones, de las cuales la última fue la que más me convenció.
Estas muestras de color las realice con el Pincel de Acuarela

After taking one of the samples, I started to detail them and added even more color and texture.
This time the details were not in large quantities, rather I wanted to keep the details simple, but at the same time the textures could be appreciated.

Después de tomar una de las muestras realizadas, empecé a detallarlas e ir agregando aún más color y textura.
En esta ocasión los detalles no iban en grandes cantidades, más bien quería mantener la simpleza en los detalles, pero que a la misma vez pudieran apreciar las texturas.

After I have my drawing completely painted with that brush, I will start with the larger details.

Después de tener mi dibujo completamente pintado con ese pincel, empezaré con los detalles más grandes.

Almost at the end I will start to make some small lights, which are caused by the small sunrise that was peeking through the mountains.
With the overlay mode the lights and the color are better integrated to the character.

Ya casi por finalizar empezaré a realizar unas pequeñas luces, las cuales son causadas por el pequeño amanecer que se asomaba entre las montañas.
Con el modo superposición las luces y el color se integran mejor a el personaje.
