MYSELF, MY RIDE AND MY TRAVELLING

To start with, I love travelling ❤
It helps me relax, think and get away from my always busy environment to someplace new or better. I'm always thrilled to see new landmarks, regions, culture and the like especially in the cool of the evening.

However, when it comes to interstate travels, I'm always travelling with other passengers in a commercial bus because I don't have a personal vehicle yet and as much as I would love to be the only one in the commercial bus with the driver during these kinds of travel, the fare is usually high so, I resort to joining other passengers in a commercial vehicle.

Which Do I prefer? Travelling alone or with others?

If I had my personal vehicle, of course I would choose travelling with my sweet self alone over in a commercial bus with other passengers and I have lots of reasons for that:

100% Privacy and Control

I do respect and enjoy my privacy with every cell in my blood. but that doesn't mean I'm not accommodating, I very well am.

When I'm travelling alone, I have the freedom to playany kind of music I want to play at any volume, sing and scream any how I want to (Yes, even while driving 🙃), stop any where and any time I want to stop.

I have total control over my journey and I can drive as fast and as slow as I want to and get to my destination when I want to.

I can even say anything I want to say without being careful of the next person seated beside me but I won't be able to have my privacy and be in control when travelling in a commercial bus. We only stop where and when the driver permits and God help you that day the driver is an Agbero(Street guy) and stops ocassionally to have a smoke and urinate like 20 times during the journey.... you will wonder where you went wrong by deciding to travel that day 🙃🙃

I'm sure you''ve been in a particular commercial vehicle that the driver and one of the passengers or any two or three of the passengers got involved in a heated argument or quarrel which resulted in a fight and subsequently made you get to your destination late and made you wish you never even thought of travelling in the first place but that's not the case in when travelling in my vehicle. There absolute calmness and quietness except I decide to shake the air a little bit 😌

In addition to it, when traveling alone, I'm sure of my security and safety, I don't have to worry about the person sitting beside me being a bandit or having alterior motives as the case can be in a commercial vehicle travel or the reckless driving of any driver that could endanger my safety.

Though this does not cancel out the benefits of travelling in a group with other passengers like taking a nap when you feel tired because you're not the one driving, getting to your destination in time especially if the driver is very good and experienced.
