Cooking Delicious Empanadas

Hello everyone! We had a cool weather the other day so I went to the house of my in-laws. I saw that my sister-in-law was busy preparing for their orders. The order was 100 Empanadas!

I helped in cooking for the fillers while they mixed the dough for the wraps.

Ingredient for Fillers:

1 kilo ground meat
2 kilos potatoes, cubed
1 pack raisins
1 pack cheese
Carrots
Garlic
Onions
Bell peppers
Basil
Salt and seasonings to taste
Boiled eggs ( slice separately) set aside

Sauté the ingredients. Set aside

Dough:

1 kilo all purpose flour
5 TSP Yeast
1/4 butter
1 cup milk
1/2 pack Calumet
Eggs

Gradually mix the ingredients until the desired softness is achieved then wrap in flour cloth to make it rise.

Next, time to make the balls. Doing this will make the dough soft.

Use a pin roller to flatten the balls.

Wash your hands thoroughly before hands-on.

Insert a slice of egg for each wrap.

Spread a little amount of flour to avoid sticking.

Testing my first four! Lol!

There....we enjoyed eating the smaller ones. It was crispy and extra yummy!
