" My Shiny Shimmering Mermaid"
Hello Everyone! It's few days more to go before Christmas so I thought of making something in shimmering colours to match the spirit of the Holiday season. It's a bit late to put up my Christmas tree but hey, it's still few days away! I had been busy assisting Antonia with her modules and granny me was overwhelmed with her grades in flying colours! Now I still have time to jumble here while she's doing the other set of modules again:)
I started digging in my 'treasure box' and found these two ladies safely hidden among my nifty little stuffs! They've long been forgotten and stashed away when it's owner diverted her attention to reading anime stories and e-novels. Sigh....my baby is now a lady and that's human nature nobody can stop but am happy she's grown up to be a fine young lady. But then, I made it a point to preserve their toys to adorn our Christmas Tree each year! I see to it that their stuffed toys are "bathed" before I place them underneath the tree.
See, they looked happy under the Christmas tree! Our Christmas Tree is the shiniest decor in our house. Everything is there and the memories within. We had it since they were kids until now that they have kids of their own.
Now it's time to beautify these two ladies. I opted to dress our little mermaid first. Well, I promised @brittandjosie that I will do the magic to catch-up the Barbie contest but my time didn't permit me to :) Anyways, I still looked forward in finishing my project.lol!
First, I got my previous cutouts from the band uniforms I made before the lockdown. They're sequins and just what I need for the scaled outfit of Princess Ariel, the Mermaid. I have chosen the golden motif for this contest. This beautiful lady will be the center of attraction amongst them underneath the Christmas tree!
I applied a nail polish with glitters for the tail before wrapping the fitted skirt.
Ariel's hair had been entangled and beyond repair so I gave her a haircut to freshen up! Isn't she cute? She looked happy with the innovation and trendy look!
There, that's the front and back view. I guess Princess Ariel is now ready to go to the ball!
A snap shot of Princess Ariel during their Masquerade Party 500 feet under the sea! Lol!
Well, I shall keep this when my great granddaughter will be bigger to appreciate dolls soon....There is no brighter day when kids begin to appreciate the little things when they're still on that stage before going up to the next level of their childhood.
Thank you for dropping by my page and of course to @brittandjosie and to all my viewers. Advance Merry Christmas to all!
With love,

My mother also keeps my dolls in her cabinet. ❤️ I will tell my mom to decorate my toys on our Christmas tree 🎄 Thank you for the idea @sarimanok !
YW. Good for her too. The next generation will surely love it.
