Hello Beautiful People! How nice to be able to meet once again in this beautiful community. I must confess that it is one of my favorites, maybe because the central theme is of great importance and value to me. This time I bring you a very nice tour. During my stay in Peru I decided to visit all my friends who are currently living there.

For more than six years, most of my friends (like me) have left the country. This has changed a lot the constancy with which we used to see each other, and it was something I enjoyed very much. The outings are no longer so frequent, in addition to the day to day occupations, many of us are separated by a great distance. That is why whenever possible I will look for a way to share with them.

We have learned to value even more these small moments, and do everything possible to make these reunions happen many times. I understand that just like me, they also have their daily responsibilities; and although in some occasions I have managed to do it, I no longer give them the last minute surprise, as I used to do before.

My friends were scattered all over the country, so it was customary to see them when I traveled to their city. I loved to arrive without letting them know, and suddenly tell them: Hey, let's go for a coffee, I'm here (I love to give surprises). But because we are generally very busy these days, I have opted to let them know at least a week in advance, so that we can coordinate and see each other in plenty of time.

I currently have friends scattered all over the world, which makes it more complicated to get together. But when I have been able to travel I take the opportunity to see them. And this time it was all about coordination, so I had already written to each of them beforehand. In Peru, I currently have many acquaintances, but only five friends. Four of them are in the capital city, Lima; or as I call it, Lima Limón! And one more is in the white city, Arequipa.

Upon arriving in Peru, the first one to see is Luis. We all call him "Gato", it was with that nickname that we met him. Every time I was in Lima, I stayed in his apartment, the one he shares with a small group of friends. That was my point of arrival, perhaps because of the trust. And that it is in a very accessible point of the city, the terminals are not far from me and that is an advantage when traveling.

Luis also lived in Ecuador for a while, very close to us. We shared a lot at that time, he even spent Christmas with our family. He is a great young man, a good person, trustworthy. He is also very joking and funny. A little over a year ago he lost his mommy and is currently taking care of his little sister, it's just the two of them.

It was very hard for them since each one of them was in a different country when it all happened. But he has been able to keep everything under control as he is now his sister's main and only breadwinner. I loved sharing with him, seeing him doing his best, and that he is doing well.

I took advantage of several days and also met with Rodrigo, he is a great friend, I call him "Rodman". He is a talented and hard working young man, he is a musician. He loves adventure and although he seems somewhat quiet and serious, he is very charismatic. As with Luis, he was one of the ones I got to see the most.

Which was great because Rodrigo is the kind of person you talk to, and there is always feedback, not empty conversations. Rodrigo is also a very gentlemanly young man, and that is something that always makes him stand out. As is customary in my friendly reunions there will always be food, it's a good way to share. With Rodrigo it was no exception, there was plenty hahaha.

In this coming and going to Lima Limón, I also had the opportunity, after trying so hard, to meet with a good friend. His name is Kevin, he is a young and very emotional guy. Kevin has been my friend for much longer than Luis and Rodrigo, I am very fond of him. He is a great friend and a very good person. He helps his parents whenever he can and has a big heart.

It has not been so easy for him, but he has managed to overcome everything. For those who know, Lima is big and the constant traffic makes it collapse, that's why it was so complicated to meet with Kevin. But even though he was in a bad mood that day, I managed to encourage him to meet me. And it was something very nice because as with Rodrigo we had more than 5 years without seeing each other, and the meeting was very emotional.

Days before I left Peru, I managed to contact Brandon, he and his brothers are in Lima as well. With them, especially Brandon, the story is super long. Our families were friends since they were kids. That's why I couldn't leave without seeing at least him. It was very emotional because unlike me, he told me that he had not seen a single familiar face since he left the country.

His struggle has been strong since he was a child, but he has known how to take advantage of the opportunities that life has given him, he is very young but he has had to mature and make a lot of effort. He is very cheerful, joking and with a great positivism. It has cost him but he is doing very well, and that made me very happy. Brandon is a hard-working and respectful young man. With good values and very protective of his siblings.

Also, when I was in Arequipa, I had the opportunity to meet my very dear friend Aline, with her we have many years of friendship, we studied together at school. We were three friends at that time, but Gaby is in Brazil. When she is there she will visit her. Aline is a very hard-working woman, with good values and very determined. Although she was a little insecure when she was a student, she has improved a lot.

Seeing each other was a great challenge, but we made it, we were able to share a whole afternoon together and with her little son. We spent as normal, catching up, she was just about to leave everything and go back to Venezuela. She has been doing very well, but sometimes we get blinded by other things. His dream when he left the country was to have his own business, and now he was so close to achieving it. So I explained to her the reasons why she should not leave.

When I left my friend confessed that our conversation had changed her mind, and a couple of weeks after our meeting she informed me of the opening of her own restaurant. How happy I was for her, I congratulated her and wished her all the best. I could not be there as I was traveling to Lima. But it is enough for me to know that she made it, and that so far she has done very well. Aline is a persevering and very well organized woman, she loves her family and takes good care of them.

I love my friends very much, the experiences with each one of them are very important to me, all of them have been decisive at some point in our lives. I feel proud of each one of them, to see how hard they have worked and all that they have achieved. They have had to give up so much, but they are still standing. Every time I see them achieve some challenge or success, I am so happy for them. They are good people, despite the knocks they have taken from life, and that is very valuable to me.

I enjoyed my stay in Peru very much, more than anything for being able to visit my dear friends, something that I had intended to do since I made the decision to go to "Los Perús", as I say. Always remember to value your friends, at the end of the day, they are not obliged to stay by your side. I thank you for reading me and for leaving your valuable comments for me.

See you soon!

VERSIÓN ESPAÑOL

¡Hola Gente Bella!
