I gained a best-friend for life as I gave birth to my beautiful daughter eight years ago and as a single mom, it's been a wonderful journey so far. As I watched her smile when she was still a baby, grew up as a cute toddler and now She's already eight years old. It's just amazing how those years passed by so quickly and to be honest I missed having her as a cute bubbly baby. Now that she's already eight, we tend to argue already especially if she won't listen to me when I said something. Though I am so proud of her for growing up perfectly fine without her dad. She's in her first grade right now and she was an achiever in her class and was awarded with honors in first grade. Although she still have a long way to go but I really don't want to pressure her from doing better in her class, I just want her to study and learn. I want her to enjoy her class and to not put too much pressure into being better than someone. I want her to be herself as long as she won't do anything bad and to continue learning. As you can see on the captions on most of the photos, that's us exactly. I love the fact that she have confident in herself and that she's doing way much better than her momma. I want her to dream big and to support her in every way. Now that she will be having a vacation break from school next month, I want to plan a staycation just like this one to reward her from being good in her class and also to let her stay away from gadget and enjoy the fresh air. I just want nothing but the best for her. She never failed to let me feel all her love by always saying "I Love you mommy" and hugging and kissing me unexpectedly. I wouldn't mind being single for life as long as I have her, she's my life and my constant and I love her to the moon and back. That's the bond that we have between my daughter and I. :)
