Classic Resident Evil 2 - Starting Claire’s Story

Hey guys from Hive Gaming, I hope you are all doing great. Today I bring the classic Resident Evil 2, one of my favorite horror games, so let’s begin at once with this gameplay series.
In the main screen we see the game has two stories, one for Leon and another for Claire, I decided to start with Claire’s.
At the beginning we see how she is driving to Raccoon City in her bike and she makes a stop at a small seemingly empty restaurant.
Suddenly, Claire bumps into a living dead that’s eating a victim and then more of them start to come out to welcome her.
Then, the girl runs scared for the exit of that place and bumps into Leon, who quickly saves her life by shooting one of the zombies that was after her.
After that, both characters find a police vehicle outside and escape that place.
Meanwhile, Claire tells him that she came to the city in search of her brother, who turns out to be one of the protagonists of the first game, on his side, Mr. Perfect hair Leon Kennedy comments that this is his first day as a cop.
In this moment, a zombie that was hiding in the backseat of the vehicle surprises them and causes them to have an accident in which both barely manage to survive.
This leaves both protagonists in different paths, so each one decides they must find refuge in the police department.
Barely after starting the gameplay, I saw a messy street with several zombies coming closer on the surroundings of the area. Since they were too many, instead of firing at them I decided to run until I left them behind.
Once I lost them I reached an alley without exist in which there was only a jeep besides the door of a gun shop.
Inside of it I found another survivor who was very scared and almost shot me because he confused me with a zombie.
Once the guy calmed down, I started examining the surrounding area and I found the first ammo items.
In this moment, the zombies that I had left behind appeared again and destroyed the shop’s windows and ended the life of the poor man I had just met.
Before the dead came for me, I escaped quickly through the door behind the store.
Then I reached some narrow allays in which I saw more zombies, these ones where pushing against a grille, it looked like they could open it at any point.
Quickly I advance until I reached the end of the way but it was blocked by a car.
And guess what? They did open the grille and starting coming towards me. I was cornered so I decided to kill them all with a good amount of bullets.
Later, I reached the other street in which I saw disgusting zombies focused on devouring a poor miserable guy. So I took that chance to advance quickly while they were distracted.
The next path that I went through looked like a warzone filled with destroyed vehicles and corpses, and more zombies following after me.
When I finally found the police department, I saw the place had no signs of destruction and seemed abandoned.
Nonetheless, when I entered into the first offices I found a wounded officer. This guy talked to us about the events of the first game and besides, he desperately asked us to rescue any survivors on the building.
After that, I decided to explore the halls to the left of the building and there I found the corpse of a decapitated police officer besides a lot of broken glass.
I walked a few more steps and saw a suspicious puddle of blood on the floor.
When I got closer to examined it, Claire looked up and saw a horrible monster with a large tongue walking upside down the roof and prepared to attack her.
What happened afterwards? Well, there are other interesting things I’d like to tell you about in a next part, so I will leave it there for now xD

Despite having most of the RE games on my shelf now I still need to get to this game! I'm just waiting until I get a CRT TV!
That's a great way to experience the game, however I recommend you to play it on PC with the seamless HD mod installed, that way the game look really nice and you also have the options to tweak the controls. In my opnion any fan of the Resident Evil series should play this game at least once, because it is one of the best installments.
