Band Collaborations: Part 3

Hello to all my fellow music lovers! @saydie here and for this week's TTT, I have another list of songs that were made by bands collaborating with others bands and/or other musicians.

King For a Day- Pierce the Veil ft. Kellin Quinn

The first song on my list was King For a Day in collaboration with Kellin Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens but before this, they haven't met each other before. It was because of the fan demand that PTV contacted Quinn which has agreed to make the song. Although the song was made on 2012 for their album Collide With The Sky, recently it has resurfaced on TikTok and has become popular there. The song was about breaking point as sometimes people have many thing on their mind at once and it reached to a breaking point.

A Love Like War- All Time Low ft. Vic Fuentes

For the next song, it was Vic Fuentes of PTV who has collaborated with All Time Low for their song A Love Like War, released on 2013 as part of the album Don't Panic: It's Longer Now!. The song was about toxic relationship that just won't work because the couple don't love each other that way though they still tried to make an effort to make it work. At the same time, the music video shows them to be watching a black and white film where the story plot was similar to the message of the song.

Caraphernelia - Pierce The Veil ft. Jeremy McKinnon

For the final song, I'm back again with Caraphernelia of PTV in collaboration from Jeremy McKinnon of A Day to Remember. I did some research and found out that the title was a kind of broken heart disease when someone leaves you but leave most of their belongings to you, making you unable to forget them even if you want to. I like this the most among the music on this list specially the part where Jeremy was on the telephone booth in an argument to the female he's and talking and it really feels like an argument over the phone with him screaming to express his anger.

And that was it for this week's #threetunetuesday post. This was a project initiated by @ablaze where everyone was free to share their favorite music every Tuesday. Thank you very much if you made it till the end and you can tell me which song have you liked or was something that you never heard.

See you until next time!

LoL! There's only friendster and myspace back then, myspace being the one most bands use that time.

Excellent stuff @saydie, some serious collabs there, nice one. That first song had some energy and was very unexpected at times when it got heavy. A Love Like War was a good song and really told a story.
