Hello there! @saydie here with my another #threetunetuesday playlist which is a project created by @ablaze.

For this week's list I have chosen songs from 3 different bands that gains their popularity during 2000's. The songs were not related by any means but the said bands have shared something in common that you could say was a contributing factor for thier success. What was that? Feel free to guess and have some fun with these songs.

Taking Back Sunday- A Decade Under the Influence

The 1st on the list was the song A Decade Under the Influence by the band Taking Back Sunday. The song was based on the vocalist awkward ride experience with his ex- girlfriend as they go together on a Coldplay concert with tickets they both when they are still on relationship but at the same time, the song is based on the realization that his understanding of the world was less than he originally thought. This is true for everyone but there are people who thinks that they know everything and it can turn bad when the time happens that they encounter something they do not know.

Hawthorne Heights- Saying Sorry

The next song I have is Saying Sorry from the band Hawthorne Hieghts. The song was about a long distance relationship where they looked back on the pain that they went trough to try to keep the relationship going, following the story concept of the album it belongs. Long distance relationship was difficult even when we have access on different means of communication and social media platforms but imagine how difficult it is during 2000's when there were still few of this.

A Day to Remember- If It Means A Lot To You

The Last music on this list will be If It Means A Lot To You from A Day to Remember. The song was about leaving behind a person, swearing you will be back soon and often but, as time goes on, coming home is not as simple as one thought it would be. The longer that one leaves, the harder it is to come back as you feel the guilt of letting that person waiting and find it hard to face them even if you really miss them too.

And that was it for this week's #threetunetuesday post. Did you figure out what's common on these bands that leads them to popularity? I'll give you a clue and that is eventually, they leave it behind as they realize that this is shady. If you figure it out, tell me at the comment section.

See you until next time!

Hawthorne heights was most known during the Myspace emo scene so its listeners were mostly either at high school or college but the band was still active now.

I like all three songs, never heard any of them before. Thanks for sharing.
I would say, all three have in common that they are about relationships. Don't know if that is a factor of success. After all relationships are heavily based on emotions and that's most often the driving factor in artists as well as the audience.

Thank you! You might have missed them but they are quite popular during 2000's with songs and albums listed on Billboard 200 and yah they are all about relationships and they are relatable to lots of people so we can say that it leads them to popularity but the thing that is common to them that I'm asking for was something different. Here is a clue:

Taking Back Sunday.... Nice, I have not heard these guys in a long time and this song brought me right back. No idea what the connection is to the other two tunes though.

Yah. The nonstalgia I feel was intense on this one.

I guess it's a bit difficult to figure out how this band were connected unless one did a little digging on thier history.
