Recently, we keep reading crime reports of even babies being raped and killed. Shocking, is it not?

Even elderly ladies too and young boys are being molested.

In short, gender does not matter and it is all a matter of being obsessed with the flesh.

Observe animals for example. They are definitely not crossing the line whereas it is only the human species that do.

When did the situation become so bad that people are now extra careful even without being told? It seems as if every person has the natural instinct to be on alert when around strangers. Usually, it was around wild animals or the neighbor's dog that people were afraid.

Somewhere along the road to technological advancement that might have been misused and the road to self-satisfaction and instant gratification that the human sought such pleasures of the flesh to satisfy his never-ending feeling of emptiness.

A few decades ago, families would get together and children would play on the grounds, probably near a river bank and elders thought nothing of leaving their children with neighbors or other relatives when going out.
Now, it is not the case except for a few rare ones maybe.

When we hear cases of relatives abusing small children, it is with horror and such cases are increasing day by day.

Safety is not to be found even inside the four walls of the house.
What has caused people to harm their own?

Some people blame it on the factory farm-produced meat. Some blame it on technology.

Moral values are becoming absent and hope in humanity is definitely not looking great.

You might think that this is a preachy post but it is just my personal views about the situation that we are all facing.

Personal safety first
Whatever the situation and however safe it might feel, one should always consider personal safety to be of prime importance and not give in to emotions or matters of the heart.

When emotions overrule, abuse can easily step in and make you a slave to others, especially those that are harsh and unkind, and go to any lengths to make others a puppet. Avoid such people if it can be possible and make sure to report it to the authorities before the situation goes out of hand.

Recently, I read reports of children from the same house using fake accounts on social media and not knowing that they were brother and sister went on to develop friendships and it ended up in the counselor's room.
Parenting is a huge responsibility and a parent should be aware of what the children are doing and supervise internet time if need be. I am not saying that a parent has to be like a military commander but if children are disciplined properly, there would be no room for major mistakes that could ruin a life.

Life is complicated in human society and we have to accept that with the advancement of technology, there will be more responsibilities as well. One has to be extra careful when handling technological devices that may seem to ease life but actually can remove the privacy completely and make one's life transparent before complete strangers.

CCTV camera footage is one such example. Think about it.
