Hello to everyone on this great platform and hope we have been enjoying our day. So today I bring to you my entry for this week's participation and my entry for this week is titled jailer by ASA. Asha is a female Nigerian artist a songwriter and she's a Nigerian life in French citizen. This renowned female Nigerian artist is being known all over the world for our beautiful song lyrics and team she sings so well and every other songs has different meanings for different occasions most importantly most of her songs carries the mark and asked to do with true Life circumstances. This song jailer was released in 2007 and ever since the song has been awarded on different locations plus ever since the release of this song karma the song has I'd never lost the beauty in it carries in its tune.

Nigeria presidential election is coming up very soon. I'm sorry but I have to say this, it is a pity looking at the Nigerian democratic system right now and even our government policies, it has been one hell of a pack because most people now see politics as a monarchial system whereby a parent who occupies a particular Powerful position in the country or state now has the believe and right that they should hand over their powerful positions to their children because they do not want it to leave their family line, which is not supposed to be so.

So many people even feel entitled to positions such as being a governor, president, senators and even house of rep because they feel entitled to it and that they should be the one to be in power due to some of the little good things that they might have done for the masses in one way or the other, which I believe should not be so.

Right now in Nigeria we are facing some crisis which and should not even be heard outside that we are facing those particular crisis and the country's presidential election is around the corner. I'm actually presenting this song right now so as just to remind us of what we have turned ourselves to in this country and if we do not stop this act of convetiousness,it is very glaring that it might lead to our ruin. Do not do to others what you won't allow them to do to you, life is very delicate.

Let's sit back and enjoy this week's entry. Even though I have cold which has really affected my voice. (Abeg, help me manage am) 😶.

LYRICS

I'm in chains you're in chains too
I wear uniforms and you wear uniforms too
I'm a prisoner,
You're a prisoner too Mr Jailer

I have fears you have fears too
I will die, you sef go die too
Life is beautiful
Don't you think so too Mr Jailer

[Chorus:]
I'm talking to you jailer
Stop calling me a prisoner
Let he who is without sin -
Be the first to cast the stone Mr Jailer, Mr Jailer Man

You suppress all my strategies
You oppress every part of me
What you don't know,
You're a victim too Mr Jailer

You don't care about my point of view
If I die another will work for you
So you treat me like a modern slave Mr Jailer

[Chorus]

You see, if you're walking in a market place
Don't throw stones
Even if you do, you just might hit
One of your own
Life is not about your policies
All the time
So you better rearrange your
Philosophies and be good to your Fellow man
Jailer

[Chorus x2]

I hear my baby say
I wanna be president
I wan chop money
From my government
What he don't know
What he won't know
What he can't know
Jailer, Jailer oh
Be good oh [x3] somebody
Be good oh [x6]
Jailer, Jailer

I have loved this song ever since it was produced. It is true that the singer is a factual producer. Singing about real life situations.

My dear the country we are into for me has ceased to be it so many years ago. We are just surviving and not living. I am sorry to say that i will encourage anyone who has a means to leave to do so because even if one has the nationalistic mindset, the evil men who occupy the positions of authority would never allow such good to be made a reality. If we say the t
Youths should unite to execute these men, the problem still is that same youths are going to be the ones killing fellow youths for cheap amounts. So you see the matter is so complicated. For me, Nigeria was a country. And I say it anywhere, if I have my way, I will jakpa.

Abeg make I leave matter first talk about your post. You have an amazing voice and e b like I don dey fall for u. 🤪 e b like I go recruit u into my list of liked ladies, lolz. Nice one dear. You do well

You've said it all, everyone is becoming power-driven and it's not helping matters at all.

Lol, thanks for the compliments.

What a great message you shared with us @sayofunmi
Its so touching and heartbreaking that we still have people in our country Nigeria that will see the truth and decide to hide it. The true choice for this election is obvious but tribalism, religion and other believes will stand as a hindrance to the truth. Corruption has far eaten our country but what I will say is let's just pray for our country Nigeria for things to be better.. You have a great vocal output and I like it when you free your self in expressions of the joy from your heart to your audience..
I so much love this entry..
Thank You For Sharing This Master Piece With Us

The fact is that, everyone knows the truth but nobody has the boldness to come out to say the truth because in one way or the other citizens with higher power will always find a way to buy the truth from people which is what I see that is killing us all in Nigeria but I pray and hope that things becomes better in this new area that we are going into in a few days time and I also pray that everything that has been destroyed God will rebuild and restore for us.

Thanks so much for your compliment I really appreciate you stopping by to see my contents. God bless 🤗

The message in your article is timely.

if we do not stop this act of covetousness, it is very glaring that it might lead to our ruin. Do not do to others what you won't allow them to do to you, life is very delicate.

I agree with you, sometimes we can be our own demons. It is well.

I knew before I started listening that you were going to do justice to the song.
I love the song choice, you sang it so well.
Your voice keeps better every week.

Oh yes we know what to do, we have just failed to do the right thing and it is actually becoming late now that we are realising that we have not been doing the things from the onset.
Thanks so much for the compliments, I really do appreciate your encouraging words and the fact that she said my voice keeps getting better every week , I'm only enjoying God's Grace 😁
