Hail to the Hive!

Finally wheels up and off the island after a bit of a delay. As much as I love my aerial drone shots there’s something very different aboutnit all when you are up there yourself staring down at land, sea and clouds with the sound of the aircraft jet engines in the background.

Once you’ve negotiated all the stress and sterility of the airports the moments you have looking through the tiny window with your brain ticking over thinking about a mixture of what your looking at from a removed perspective and where you’ve just been. Who you’re leaving behind and where you are going and who you’ll be seeing soon.

I like it. I always feel there is something definite to look forward to.

Even if it is just more delays, free booze and re routed flights ( I will be posting about this later )

And I managed to grab a few nice monochrome shots too.
