Hail to the Hive!

Well as much as this trip is supposed to be work related it’s kind of hard not to be in love with it all. India is amazing. My friend Pushpak has a Royal Enfield motorcycle that I am riding around on the back of. I miss my old bike in the Philippines and this just makes me want to get another one. The sense of freedom that you experience is incredible.

After a couple of meetings we stopped for a break on a nearby beach and watched folks engaged in a sort of ceremony after visiting one of the temples nearby.

I can’t really explain what my preconceptions were about India but I can say that I’ve felt completely at home here since arriving and the friendliness and warmth I have felt has been uplifting. I can understand why people love it here so much.

I am only a few days into this short 2 week trip and am already looking forward to the next trip back. Having a network of friends here that is growing by the day will be really helpful as well.

Hmmmm maybe I should get my own Royal Enfield Motorcycle for me to use while here? Ooooh so tempting. They are pretty groovy though. And I love the sound of the single thumper engine. Ooooh so tempting? What say you oh great Hive mind? It would be very useful
