Hail to the Hive!

Towards the end of the month we are planning a trip to Negril in Jamaica and I remembered that they have a lighthouse there from when I was in the area years ago. I suddenly remembered that we made a trip to Plymouth a month or so back and I never got round to posting the lighthouse photos. So here they are.

Lighthouses are naturally eye catching buildings ( i think that was kind of the idea right? ) and I always feel that they make excellent targets for a good photo or 10.

I think I got very lucky with the clouds and lighting with these shots as they rewlly helped capture the right kind of mood for black and white images.

Looking back at these now I am regretting not making the effort to go inside and make my way to the top for the views. Hmmm next time for sure.

Hopefully I can bag some nice shots of the lighthouse in Negril but whether they will be good for monochrome or not remains to be seen. We will have to see, I kinda hope they will because I do…..
