Hail to the Hive!

Tomorrow I am making the run up bback to Narrowboat Cygnet to spend my off days on her, sorting things out, lacking stuff away. And also preparing for my upcoming India trip. I look forward to these days on the boat and the views that come with boat life.

I find myself occasionally smiling to myself as a peek out of the canopy at the stern of the vessel, and take in the view of all the different styles of narrow boats nestled next to each other in the marina.p wondering whose they are and what kind of personalities go along with these boats moored around us.

Milly is away at the moment so my time on the boat is one of solitude and thoughtfulness, which I have really appreciated as it’s given me some valuable’me time’ to get a lot of thoughts clear and plans made, both long and short term.

And going for a few canal walks thinking about the upcoming adventures along the canal system that await.

We will get to immediately venture into parts of the network we never did before on Narrowboat Badger and then meet up with familiar parts of the network we did previously.

It’s going to be fun 🤩
