Good morning all you lovely hivers!

Having a bar on the beach is a pretty cool thing but it's also a bit of a seductress. So several times a year I have a bit of a detox and test my will power and stay off the booze and carbonated drinks for a bit. I never set a time limit on it and just take it day by day and let how I'm feeling dictate how long I stay clean. Sometimes it's just a few days, sometimes a week or 2 and occasionally a month.

Having recently set a few wheels in motion and got stuff off my back I've decided a bit of a clean out body wise is in order and waking up this morning I randomly decided to start today. So let's see how many days I do and monitor how I'm feeling mentally and physically.

I usually up my water intake and exercise more during these times also. It all seems to go hand in hand. We don't have a massive amount of guests at the moment so there shouldn't really be any reasons to be at the bar all night in the evening yet I have found I am there anyway haha. Well the beer is cold and the sunsets are awesome but you can be seduced into an unhealthy routine very very easily.

So day 1 starts today. Not giving up my coffee though, not a fucking chance!
