Hail to the Hive!

We were on a little mission to get some bits and bobs for the upcoming Egypt trip the other day. @diveratt needed air tags for his luggage and I needed a dive mask as I seemed to have misplaced mine. We seem to both suffer from beer constipation though as it seems……. We can’t pass a pub! 🤣

We spied this little beauty of a pub as we strolled down one of the main streets. Seemed too inviting to not venture in so of course

in we went!

I immediately zeroed in on an interesting looking american pale ( that’s the beer not the tattooed fella pulling the pint)

And @diveratt went for the cash is king option.

Now as it happens they brew this ‘Cash is King’ red ale on the lremises as they have a micro brewery in full view of the bar. I have to say I do love seeing these kind of beer operations and would love to see more pubs follow the same model. Throw off the shackles of dependency on other suppliers, increase diversification and make it more interesting for all of us beer heads out there.

Plus all that shiny beer making malarkey looks bloody cool as well, don’t ya think?

Mmmmmm in the supping. Bloody lovely.

Was tempted to have another but alas we had to get a move on
