Hail to the Hive!

Yesterday I collated a lot of great street art for a post in the Bring the Paint Festival and Jimmy here caught my eye. As good as he is in vibrant colour ( and a touch of purple haze) I thought I’d throw in a few different shots and satisfy my #monomad craving being the monomaniac that I am. Aren’t we all?

When we leave Leicester next week I will be a little sad for a number of reasons. I will miss the easy time spent with old mates, the nostalgia of my home town and I’ll certainly miss the steady supply of street art it keeps coughing up for my posting pleasure, and yours.

It makes a nice change from the canal shots but having said that I am kind of itching to get back to nomadic cruising also. This last few weeks has been excellent though as it’s given me a chance to try and do some different photography and experiment a little. I quite like doing the graffiti in black and white.

Totally different vibes. But with some of the art, works very well indeed.
