Survival Mode 250K Glint Up For Grabs!

Introduction

This season once again you can earn 250,000 Glint tokens just for playing in brackets one through five in the Survival Mode. All you need to do is to play two hundred fifty battles and then after the season ends fill out a very short and easy survey for Splinterlands about your experience.

How I Chose Bracket Five

Bracket Five also known as Expert bracket is the highest level bracket that you can participate in if you want to earn this special limited time bonus from Splinterlands. Brackets six through eleven are not eligible.

The reason I chose bracket five is because I have maximum level cards, so that would allow me to play in the bracket that is not limiting the level of your cards and get the highest Glint reward for the points scored during the battles as well as get the biggest leaderboard placement prize. If you look at the image below you will see that bracket five has the largest Bracket Glint Pool at 3,600,000 Glint tokens, with Gold level bracket Four aka Advanced coming in second with 1,200,00 Glint token pool:

In my case I hope to place in the top ten in the Expert bracket which would earn me another 100,000 Glint tokens as a leaderboard placement prize. In bracket Four also known as Advanced bracket that top ten placement prize drops to just fifty thousand glint tokens! Also, if you review the previous season you will see that the lower the bracket the more participation there is, so in Expert bracket there were 17 people placing on the leaderboard last season and in Advanced bracket there were 27 people placing on the leaderboard. And in the Intermediate bracket there were 51 people placing on the leaderboard all of this suggests tougher competition at the lower levels as well as the smaller Glint token reward pools being shared among more people the lower bracket you choose.

The Survey

The survey you have to fill out to get your 250K Glint bonus is pictured below and consists of only seven questions the last one asking you to write between one and there paragraphs about your experience with the bots.

My Experience With The Bots

First of all for those who have not played in the Survival mode lately, one thing to not is that if you switch brackets between Splinterlands seasons and then try to go back to the bracket you were in then you will loose your rating. If you stay in the same bracket you will start next season in a higher ranking and will not be reset to zero.

I didn't know that and I played in a different bracket last season so when I came back this season my rating was zero. Starting from zero the experience is interesting, I went on the forty five battle win streak when I started this season. The bots were extremely easy to beat even though they sometimes had maxed out cards. Just the lineups were poor and they didn't play some of the best cards.

As I went up the rating the bots started to become harder and harder. What was also interesting that when I finally reached Diamond One I started getting higher rated bots that allowed my to advance my rating by forty points and then in Champion there were even higher ranked bots that allowed me to loose a couple games in a row loosing twenty points twice then win one game and get 60 points so even loosing more battles than winning I was moving up.

Also notice those wins with 104,000+ points per win! That is what point rewards look like in the Champion Two Survival, you start at like one point per win when you are at zero and it takes a long time to make it to couple thousand points per win.

But when you are in Champion level Survival the bots really don't put up any bad teams, and they tend to have all the best cards in the game. I even encountered Heloise the Hollow a couple times in Survival:

Overall the experience in Champion Survival now is on par with my experience and win rates in Modern Champion.

Conclusion

For a limited time you can still get a 250K Glint token bonus playing in Survival mode. You can even still play and get it this season. I am not sure how long this bonus will last but it is the easiest 250K Glint you can get in the game! So go out and get it what are you waiting for?
