What's up my people? I hope you are all fantastic today, because I feel great sharing music on this HIVE platform, especially in this Hive Open Mic global community, at this event Week 93. On this occasion, I present to you a very challenging piece for me, it is the Second Study of Opus 25 by Frederic Chopin. In general terms, this work basically focuses on polyrhythms and is commonly associated, extra-musically, with the buzzing of bees. Because of this, it has become popular among interpreters as "Les abeilles", which is French for "The Bees". This is played very fast among professional pianists, and this being my first time playing a piece this fast, I chose to focus on speed more than anything. As always, here is my entry, I just hope you like it.
¿Qué pasa mi gente? Espero que estén todos fantásticos hoy, porque me siento muy bien compartiendo música en esta plataforma HIVE, especialmente en esta comunidad global Hive Open Mic, en el evento de esta Semana 93. En esta ocasión, les presento una pieza muy retadora y desafiante par mi, se tata del Segundo Estudio del Opus 25 de Frederic Chopin. En líneas generales, esta obra se enfoca, básicamente, en la polirritmia y se asocia comúnmente, en lo extramusical, al zumbido de las abejas. Debido a esto, se ha popularizado entre los intérpretes como "Les abeilles", que en francés significa "Las abejas". Esta se interpreta muy rápido entre los pianistas profesionales, y siendo la primera vez que toco una pieza así de rápido, elegí concentrarme en la velocidad más que nada. Como siempre, aquí está mi entrada, solo espero que les guste.

This is speed!! Well, very good Sebastian, you've done a great job. Hats off to your hardworking attitude. This study is not easy, as none of Chopin's actually, it has the polyrhythm and then the speed that must be achieved. Then you can work on lightness, on the phrasing of the parts, and "breathing" :) Breathe between phrases, but don't slow down. I congratulate you on this interpretation!
Esto es velocidad!! Pues, muy bien Sebastian, has hecho un trabajo genial. Quitando mi sombrero ante tu actitud trabajadora. No es fácil este estudio, como ninguno en realidad de Chopin, tiene la polirítmia y luego la velocidad que hay que alcanzar. Luego, puedes trabajr en ligereza, y en fraseo de las partes y "respiración" :) Respirar entre las frases, pero no bajar de velocidad. Te felicito por esta interpretación!
Thank you so much @mipiano for that generous and advicing comment!! Yes I have to focus now on the phrasing and the lightness so it sounds better connected and softer. The breathing is also one of the things I have to master because without it I just get knocked down at the end of the piece haha! Yes, it is important, to breathe and use it to relax the hand, if not you get knocked down at the end, as you say too. :) Very important also the flexible and relaxed wrist and arm.

Uufff increíble hermano, esta fue mi reacción al escucharte 👉😮😮😮 Velocidad y precisión total, es increíble la técnica que manejas en el piano. Ahora que la escucho de verdad la podría asociar al sonido de las abejas por alguna razón 😆
Tu fuiste el que monto una canción de la banda sonora de Shrek? Creo que no es la primera vez que me topo con tus maravillosas ejecuciones de piano.

Increíble, verte tocar esta pieza tan frenética y que amerita la mejor de las técnicas en ejecución, me recuerda, en mi caso, a los más virtuosos de la guitarra haciendo solos que te hacen entender una sola cosa: llegar a este nivel más allá de la práctica, la disciplina, el amor y la genética (factor clave), es algo que se debe trabajar sin duda alguna desde la infancia, más allá de los aplausos o del feedback, debes sentirte orgulloso de tener la música en tu vida, yo creo que estás a un nivel de poder crear tu propia composición musical, sería un reto grande por que sé que te exigirías mucho, pero será algo que te traerá algo más a tu vida que en el futuro te hará sonreír cuando lo recuerdes... un abrazo grande Sebastián sea cual sea tu aspiración en la música te deseo muchos éxitos, mientras esté alineada a lo bueno, lo positivo y creas firmemente en ello lograrás cosas más increíbles 👊😎🔥🎹🎶❤️🌟🍻💥💫💯
