🎡 🎧 🎡

Lily Allen - Madeline

I will start with what I believe to be the most famous musical icon of those listed today. Lily Allen is a British singer, songwriter, and actress. She is best known for her 2006 hit 'Smile', which catapulted her to musical stardom as a post-adolescent and almost ended up like her colleague Amy Winehouse. The two have been compared to Janis Joplin and Grace Slick. Amy, like Janis, ended up in the "27 Club," while Grace survived and is now 86, and she is painting. Lily is still active, and her latest album, West End Girl, her fifth, was released at the end of October and mainly deals with the difficulties of divorce.
Madeleine is said to be the woman who caused her husband to leave her.

Black Eyes - Tom Tom

Black Eyes is an American band from Washington, D.C., active from 2001 to 2004, then on hiatus until 2023, and this October, after twenty-one years, they released their third album, Hostile Design. They have an interesting lineup: two drummers, two bassists, one guitar, saxophone, and wild, screaming vocals, with influences from no-wave, free jazz, dub, and punk.
Tom Tom is the single from the new album, an intense, chaotic art-punk, even danceable song with abstract lyrics about paranoia and decay, in short, a critique of the modern world.

🎡 🎧 🎡

Aesop Rock - Oh My Stars

Ian Matthias Bavitz, aka Aesop Rock, is an American underground rapper and producer from New York. He has released 11 albums to date, the latest being 'Heard It's A Mess There Too' at the end of October this year. He is known for his complex, abstract lyrics full of metaphors and allusions.
The song Oh My Stars from his latest album is typical of his style. It's full of metaphors and images that explore themes of perseverance and gratitude amid the chaos of everyday life. Fans call it a banger with a cosmic touch.

🎡 🎧 🎡

JANKO x BRAZILAC - KRADEM BAKAR

Janko and Brazilan are Serbian performers active in the Balkan trap and rap genres, with humorous, satirical elements.
The song 'Kradem Bakar' (I steal copper) went viral on YouTube. The trap beat addresses copper theft, which is common in the Balkans because copper is in high demand on the black market. Usually, the Gypsies are to blame for this, uff, sorry, we can't call them that here, I could get punished for hate speech... lately, the term "citizens" has been used...

🎡 🎧 🎡

Rosa Damask – Yesterday

Nastia Reigel is a Russian producer and musician from St. Petersburg who works in Berlin. She is known for her techno productions and minimalist club sound. Under the name Rosa Damask, she explores the darker world of post-punk, darkwave, industrial, and goth with influences from Depeche Mode and P.J. Harvey. As Rosa, she has released three albums, completely DIY, the latest being Adore You in December last year.
Two months ago, she released a video for the song Yesterday (not an official video), a recording of herself playing bass guitar. Moody, with elements of melancholy, nostalgia, and a dark mood.

🎡 🎧 🎡

Royel Otis - Moody

Royel Otis is a new name for me. An Australian indie rock duo that has been performing since 2019. They have released two studio albums, the latest being Hickey from late August 2025. They play a catchy, nostalgic sound with influences from 90s garage rock, new wave, and pop.
The song Moody is a single from their latest album, about a toxic relationship between partners. The recording is from a performance on SiriusXM. Music experts say they are the next big thing. We'll see, I'll wait and follow them.

🎡 🎧 🎡

Charlie Jeer - Mona Lisa

Charlie Jeer is a 22-year-old British musician, singer, and classically trained saxophonist. But that's not all β€” he's also a model and reality TV star (finalist in season 6 of Netflix's Too Hot to Handle). He's a new name to me; I haven't listened to him yet, let alone watched him on any reality shows. He mixes jazz, deep house, and electronica.
The song Mona Lisa is a single from his debut EP, Everything Is Temporary, released two weeks ago. It's a smooth, love-sick track with Latin influences, flowing saxophone, and intoxicating rhythms. Could he be the next big thing?

🎡 🎧 🎡

Hot Stamp - Better Taste

Hot Stamp is a British duo, sisters from North London, who have been performing for just over a year and have released two singles so far. A new name for me, a mixture of punk energy and dramatic pop. They are praised for their theatrical performances and DIY production.
Better Taste is their latest single, released at the end of October this year. It's a catchy pop-rock track with melodic and dramatic vocals about desire and exaggeration. High-drama style, I'll be following them.

🎢 That should be all for today, thanks for your attention, and enjoy your weekend with new songs!
