Well, that's not a movie, just a short. It's something different. Optimized for phones. But, in video editors, you can change the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 9:16, though the image will look a little different, of course. Short vertical videos (9:16) from mobile phones account for 30–50% (or more) of total internet traffic.

it's a bad format to watch on a 4k monitor / tv , that is why i dislike the format . but i guess you are aiming at the mobile users.

Well, younger people don't watch TV... 9:16 isn’t just a video formatβ€”it’s a symbol of a new generation of communication: fast, intimate, accessible, addictive, and very personal. It has changed our relationship with fame (anyone can go viral), with truth (deepfakes, filters), and with time (who watches a 10-minute video anymore?).
Vertical video fills the entire phone screen (which 94% of people hold upright). That’s why it feels very personalβ€”like FaceTime or a selfie. You feel like the creator is speaking directly into your eyes, without that β€œdistant” movie theater feeling. This creates a stronger connection, trust, and engagement. (That's by Grok, I'm not smart enough to write something like this 😎)
