Luck πŸ€

Luck is different from fate. Luck goes up and down like waves, though no one knows just how high or how low the line of luck might go next.

So when you feel unlucky or like nothing's going your way, you must persevere. When the line goes down, it'll eventually come back up, for sure.

When your luck is bad, it just means there's good luck to come.

You know that feeling when you come across a movie you didn't expect to be such a gem?

That's how I felt when I began watching this show.

Luck

Plot

The story of Sam Greenfield, the unluckiest person in the world. Suddenly finding herself in the never-before-seen Land of Luck, she must unite with the magical creatures there to turn her luck around. ~ Source

Now as someone that has had my fair share of bad luck this week, this was a movie that really spoke to me.

The most unluckiest girl in the world, finds a little bit of goodluck and gives it to another girl to try and save her from going through the same thing she went and has been going through?

Now that's touching 😒

It's pretty hard to find so good a kind of show and not see one of the big names of children animation backing it. No Pixar, DreamWorks or Disney.

No

This show is a product of Apple TV and Skydance Animations. So I've added them to my Producer's watch.

What I liked about the show.

Now I've been talking all about how good the show is and now its time to tell you what made it so good for me.

- The Creativity of the Plot.πŸ’‘

Its not the first time we're seeing a show about leprechauns or goblins or going to another dimension.
It is a first that we're seeing about how this dimension relates to the real world.
The show doesn't portray leprechauns as the cranky gold hogging Irish dwarves that we all know and search for. (I know I search for them at times πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜)

This show portray them as a symbol of luck. (Something I wasn't aware of before.)
It then goes on to portray different lucky symbols, all living together in a magical plane, coexisting and sharing their luck to each other.
It was breathtaking ✨

- The Animation πŸ‘Ύ

Now for such a creative and magical plot, the animation had to be top knot and Skydance Animations really created gold on it.

I really don't know how they have gone unnoticed by me for till now.

With animations that could rival DreamWorks, they made this wonderful story as beautiful as they could.
No slow robotic motions, everything was moving fluidly while still looking as real as it can possibly be ✨.

- The Values Taught πŸ‘¨β€πŸ«

Now it wouldn't be a truly great animated show if nothing good was taught to the kids.
This show goes a long way to show the randomness of luck and how one shouldn't let one bad thing that happens bring you down.
It also goes to show that hardwork and consistency matters, plus the mind to be able to make the best with whatever luck you have.
Fluffing great values for the kids if you ask me😍

- Lovely (Relatable) Characters πŸ’―

Now this is something that is sometimes overlooked in an animation, characters that are relatable. (Maybe because at times they aren't human?)
Regardless this show brought character's one could relate too.
From our Cranky Black Cat Bob, that wanted more to life than just bad luck, to our lovable groups of Roots, Goblins and Goats who have gotten so used to bad luck that they don't care much for Goodluck.
Every character had a bit of that humane emotional feel to them which just made them a bit more magical✨

- The Irish Accent πŸ—£οΈ

Now this is one thing that always gets me.

Please this is just my personal like though πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I'm a sucker for an Irish tone😭😭.
I love the way the accent goes and I tend to listen way more when to an Irishman speaking or singing.
For some reason, most of the lucky characters who were speaking were Irish, with an Irish black cat and Irish leprechauns.
It was a total joy for me to watch😍✨

My Total Review

I have nothing but praises for this show and I hope I get to see more like thisπŸ˜πŸ˜‚.
It was a total joy filled with laughter love and those 'awwn' moments.
A great film for the family and kids.πŸ’―
