The #inleo #aprilinleo monthly prompts written by @leo.tasks as always has come to my rescue again when I'm at loss for what to right on.
Yet coincidentally, the prompt for today is exactly what I was suffering from just a minute ago.

Burn Out!

If you do something such as posting everyday, continually dishing out quality longform content. Well burnouts are quite a regular occurrence.

How does one notice it?

Well most times one doesn't. Sometimes it happens so drastically that you're just at a loss for words or thoughts.
Not knowing or having the ability to do anything.
I've had a lot of burnouts since I started this initiative on February.
Some pretty bad ones too.

There was once a time that I got a headache trying to force the creativity river to squirt out one last stream for a story.

Since that particular bad one, I've had it quite easy in dishing out posts, at least until today.

I knew it was a burnout when I started the day drained. Extremely drained. Had no motivation to even check my notifications on how my collage of yesterday went.
Regardless, I knew I had to try bringing up something so I went to my burnout recovery manual.

How To Freeze the Burn Out

1. Relax Braaa

Yep, the number one method is the most used and sometimes the most successful.
Sometimes it's best to just relax...
Just do nothing, and chill...

This sudden inactivity makes your brain rest and try to catch-up.
You could watch a movie or sleep or listen to music. Just something that isn't strenuous, something calming..

2. Sleep.

A good long deep nap has never hurt anyone and in this instance, after step 1 has failed, it's time to go a bit deeper in the realm of inactivity.
A deep slumber and if possible a really loud snore.

You'd be shocked at how much a good rest can help you.
I know I was..

3. Spontaneous Activities.

A burnout ideally happens when one does an activity repeatedly, so much that he or has run out of ideas on how to do what he normally does.
Hence what one should do is switch up the menu.
This is what helped me today. Switching things up gives you a new perspective.
For me, I went a bit on a drive.

I say drive but since I went on public transport I'd say more of a tourism journey 😂😂

Going to destinations that I don't normally go to really helped my head. I even managed to meet a friend that I don't see normally either.

Came back home and immediately started a movie instead of my normal routine of picking up my phone.
And immediately after the movie, I took a bath and began writing this post.

Over 500 words...
I guess it's clear the burnout has been taken care of😂😂✨
