Discovering the Everlasting View and Experience at Nanda Café I Consolacion Cebu

Hello, great friends in this beautiful community. How are you today? I hope everyone is doing fine. Because today is the weekend, my friends invited me for another great adventure to discover. Without a second thought of the whereabouts, I said yes to them. Discovering a new place will create a great experience. For today, I will be sharing with you our great travel to Nanda Café in Consolacion, Cebu.

Nanda Café is located in Barangay Garing Consolacion Cebu, one of the mountain barangay of the town. Seeing a lot of videos on Facebook about the place, we are very eager to try the newest café on top of the hills. My friend started to turn on the motorcycle and check its condition and set up the waze at Nanda Café.

How to get there?
The place is located on top of the hills. Unfortunately, no public jeepneys will go to the place. You can reach the place via habal-habal (motorcycle for hire) near SM Consolacion, Cebu which will cost you 150Php or 2.72 in USD for the fare.

You can also reach the destination by bringing your car or motorcycle. Set your waze or google map to Nanda Café in Barangay Garing, Consolacion, Cebu.

To the top of the hills we go!

As the first timer to the place, we are not familiar with the whereabouts and its nearest locations, so what we did, was we asked locals we meet along the road to the exact location of the place.

The road is bumpy, so take extra careful in going there. Make sure the driver drives well because the place is a little bit mountainous, you need to be an expert in driving up the hills. Don't worry the road going up the place is cemented path, there are only a few areas where the road is not so good.

While going up, you can see a lot of wildflowers like these near the road.

The Entrance

There you can see signage saying that you arrive at Nanda. At first, I thought it was just a simple café as we visited already. Seeing its rough road going to the entrance, we need to walk for I am afraid the motorcycle might sway.

You can also see a wide parking space for the people that come here. I thought no people were coming to the place because of its distance, but I am wrong.

Reaching the top, a lot of motorcycles and cars are being parked in the parking area. Meaning people also are coming to the place despite the distance.

Majestic View

Now I know, this spectacular view at the top is the reason why people might love to visit and come back here.

Before arriving at their cafeteria, you will see the wide ground with a lot of seats to choose from.

While seating, you can see the majestic view below. It's an overlooking view of the municipality of Consolacion.

You can also swing here and rest for a while before making an order. With the number of seats waiting for customers, you can choose where you want to seat.

The Treehouse

There are three treehouses near the café. You can climb and take pictures of the overlooking view. That awesome view of the background makes you feel to go back here. The breeze of the wind touching your face is a relaxing feeling.

It was fun yet I'm also afraid for the place is so windy, I might fall and nobody will catch me. lol 😄

Kids Playground

If you are bringing your kids with you, for sure your kids won't get bored here. There is a mini playground for kids.

There are swings, an obstacle, a mini wall climbing at the lower portion, and a seesaw, on the other side you will see a basketball ring, monkey bars, a slide, and a pyramid made from tires.

The Structure

One thing that amuses me about the place is the structure of the café. It's not the usual style of café that we usually see. The structure itself is very eye-catchy to the newcomers.

Aside from the structure, the breathtaking view you can see from afar is awesome. The bumpy roads and the distance to the place are worth seeing. You can go to the top of the structure for an excellent view, but we don't have the opportunity of going upstairs because of the heat of the sun.

The Food

After making some time to take pictures and walking around the area, we order some food to delight our tummies. If you are delighted with the outside view, the vibrancy you feel on the inner side of the cafe is also captivating.

We order some light snacks. We try their Nanda's Hum bacon Burger with Fries and Cranky Chocolate Bread, and for our drinks, we tried their lemon iced tea and frappe cookies and cream flavor. We pay about 716Php for the entire food or 13.03 in USD. I guess, the price is worth it for its yummy taste.

After eating, you can also seat for a while and enjoy the view.

Indeed, that was a wonderful adventure, an experience worth remembering.

Taking some time for yourself, taking a deep breath, and recharging is important, especially since we are dealing with problems and stress in our daily grind.

As Donna Karan said, “It’s all about finding the calm in the chaos.”
