Hello, howdy my beautiful friends in this lovely community. How was your day? I wish you all safe and doing great.

After knowing my friends plan to visit Moalboal. Without a second thought, I wanted to go with them and take a dip in one of the most talk towns with charming white sand beaches - Basdaku, Moalboal Cebu.

As I mentioned in my previous blog, we made a stopover at one of the magical places in Barili, Cebu, the Estino Milk Station. It was a worthwhile stop for it's not just an ordinary snack bar but you can see a lot in the place - enchanting trees and alluring cute animals tamed over the place.

With my friends, we book a room at Conching's Resort near Basdaku, Moalboal for an overnight stay. There are a lot of resorts you can check in near the place but we opted to choose this for it's very affordable and near to the shoreline.

Basdaku White Beach

Basdaku, White Beach is one of the little paradise beaches in the Southern part of the island of Cebu, specifically located at Moalboal, Cebu. It is one of the famous beaches that local and foreign ones wanted to visit because of its fine white sand and crystal clear blue water. Because of its wide coastline, a lot of activity can be done in the area.

What to expect in the place?

Entrance Area
Before you enter the resort, you can see a wide parking space outside for the visitors to park their vehicles. There is also allocated parking space for people who rented for an overnight stay near the rooms.

You must pay Php20 or 0.36 USD before you can take a dip in the white sand beach of Basdaku.

There are parked tricycles outside for those visitors who are commuting.

Different Food Stalls Nearby

You can see a lot of stalls near the place which sell random foods for tourists. If you are not bringing any food with you, you can also cook in the place. There are grilling and cooking stations near the shore. But if you're tired of cooking, you can buy affordable meals in the area.

Affordable meals and drinks are being sold in the area so you will not worry too much about the prices.

Food stalls during night time

Cottages

If you are not renting any rooms near the place for you are visiting the place for day-use only, well do not worry about the place to stay. Basdaku White Beach offers affordable rental cottages for barkada sizes for 10 persons per cottage inclusion of one long table for only Php1000 or 17.94 USD.

All the cottages for rent near the coastline are in barkada sizes. Those who are not planning to rent cottages but wanted to enjoy their stay, just bring mats or towels and place them near the shore.

Only mats and towels are allowed on the beach but tents were not because the place had previous encounters with visitors using tents, bottles of beer or other drinks were just left on the shore and some were broken in pieces, it was dangerous to all the travelers who wanted to enjoy the shore.

Wide Coastline with fine white sand
One of the attractions that the place offers for foreigners and locals is its wide coastline with fine white sand. A lot of people are having their quality time on the shore.

I can see some of the young ones are having beach volleyball with friends. Some families are enjoying swimming along the shores. Because of its fine sand, kids are enjoying playing with the sand.

People are laying their mats on the shore and if you're tired of playing or swimming, anytime you can relax for a bit.

There are a lot of vendors selling different products to the visitors coming. Even vendors of balloon and taho (Philippine snack food made of fresh/soft tofu with sago pearl) were very early selling their products.

After taking a dip, we opted to walk for a while on the shore during nighttime. A lot of people are still enjoying the beach. Some were talking out with friends and some were watching the view of the sea, the moon, and the stars above.

I was very grateful for the experience that the beach resort offers. Despite the distance, it was all worth it seeing this one-of-a-kind charming place.

You can bring your family, friends or barkada to the place for sure you will enjoy swimming and walking along the wide coastline of the place.

Have a nice day everyone!

Oh wow! have they just implemented the "No Tent" recently? I think this is such a good initiative because of the trash most people leave! Thinking of it really annoys me. Like they go there because of the white sand and how clean the beach is but doesn't give a shit and leave bits of trash in the sand.

anyways, good to know you enjoyed your stay in Moalboal. It's been a year now since my last visit and I miss the place already.

Yes @indayclara. Tents are not allowed anymore to avoid accidents from broken pieces of bottle of beers or drinks.
