Trying the new UNLIMITED KOREAN BBQ in town for only $4!
Ready for some unlimited meat?
Well, who can say no to more of something? No one. This unlimited Korean bbq is the dream of every KPO-P and Kdrama lover like me! A little bit sprinkle of Korean culture, and I'm all good!
THE INTERIOR
Ready to grab a $4 unli meat deal? All you need to do is grab some friends (for picture-taking purposes) for this fantastic restaurant called "Samgyup 199," conveniently located in Brgy. Banlic, Mamatid road Cabuyao, Laguna Philippines, near the Divimart Bldg.
In case you're wondering what's with the name:
- Samgyup is short for "Samgyupsal," a famous Korean pork belly dish, and
- the 199 is short for our currency: Philippines Peso, Php 199.00 ($4)
This is the entrance of Samgyup 199. I like the incorporation of the colors red and black, both my favorite colors!
... and this is the interior of the restaurant. My only concern is there's no air conditioning system. But that's maybe because they have no equipment that can absorb the smoke.

This is not anything like the unli meat restaurant that many of us are used to; it’s on a whole new level! Anyone can build a restaurant like this, but not everyone can offer such great value of service! A staff full of respectful people is a win-win situation!
Anyway, unlike any unli samgyupsal restaurant I've tried, this is the only restaurant so far that initiated self-service rule for its price, and I like that idea! You get to pick how much you want, unlike the previous restaurant I've tried that it took so long for staff to refill our meats because their restaurants are full of customers.
In here, you don't have to worry when you realize you're out of meat because you can easily refill! A feature we really need here because we're only allowed to stay for two (2) hours, hehe.
This trip is unplanned, so excuse my unwashed and messy hair, lol.
I am amazed at the restaurants booming during this pandemic. To be honest, I'm surprised that Samgyup 199 is really full when we get there because they just opened last October 22! I lowkey wanna start a business like this, but I lack business and management skills, lol.
THE FOOD
If you can see your way across this restaurant, then you will find yourself immersed in a sea of unlimited pork cuts, beef cuts, pork belly, siomai, sour cream marblets, sweet sosiji, cucumber, lettuce, kimchi, toge, fish cake, and rice!
They offer Php 199 ($4) for unli pork and side dishes and Php 299 ($6) for unli pork, beef, and side dishes! For a complete view of their menu, look below. The menu came from here.
Upon hearing the word "unlimited," my dopamine reaches its peak! As mentioned, we got the Php 199 deal, which allows us to enjoy unli porks and unli side dishes. Among the pork flavors, I mostly like the Spicy Pork and Pork BBQ!
Fun fact: This is my last day enjoying heavy meals. A day, right after this, I started my calorie-deficit journey!
Rice is an Asian thing. We eat rice three (3) times a day! So, I walk my way to their rice and grab it. I think I got to enjoy 3 servings of rice throughout our whole journey, lmao.
I love the taste of their spicy Kimchi! Plus, their sweet fish cake is really lovely! I only like a few restaurants that serve Kimchi. I dunno why, but Kimchi has its distinct taste that you can quickly tell if a resto serves a bad or good one, lol.
I want to share how happy I am being here, after a hectic week from academics, which is evidently seen in the photos. As you can see, we are placed near the entrance. This is because we don't want to be surrounded by many people. This is good because only a few cars pass by in this area, so dust is not a problem.
Among the people I am with, I am the biggest eater T^T Most of our group photo involves my chubby cheek having too much pork, lol. My chubby cheek helps me decide that I should really start my fitness journey, lol. I am used to people calling me intimidating because of my resting b*tch face. But now, they often press my cheek because it looks cute, wth HAHAHA.
THE VERDICT
Will I recommend Samgyup 199 to everyone? Absolutely! 100% Yes! Hopefully, I can go back here, but not too soon coz I gotta make my cheeks small, lol.

Only $4 that's a huge food portion!
It really is! It's sulit! (Sulit in Filipino language means "worth it," hehe) Many restau here are offering the same deal ($4 for unli meal.) Korean-inspired restaurants have been growing pretty good here in Ph 🤍🤍

It's pretty common here in our city to have unli restau like unli chicken wings and this unli meat 🤍🤍 Baka kaya wala pa sa town niyo kasi kayo raw po ang unang magbubukas, charot. Have a great day!

Yes! I think we've gone to refill our pork 6 times? + the side dishes 😍 We didn't have the courage to left some leftovers because they have a $6 penalty if they see your plates having leftovers T^T
Wow! The penalty is higher than the amount you got the food.

Oh, sadly they have none :<< Turkey is quite a rare food here in Ph unless you're in a high-end restau T^T As per the diet po, my fam on both sides has a history of heart illness and diabetes kaya I'm trying to be strict po with my food, hehe. I'm still eating 2-3 times a day po, but with one serving of rice na lang. And soon, my goal is to eliminate or decrease the rice and replace it with healthy options like salads, tofu, and such 😍
I think you've heard about Mang Inasal po coz of their unli rice. Mang Inasal is really popular here because of their unli rice. Also, unli meat and unli chicken wings are really popular nowadays po. Especially this samgyupsal restau coz of the emerging K-POP and Kdrama fans 🤍🤍
