Performance

It's hard to believe another season is over it's time to take a look back and see how we did. I'm still rocking level 2 summoners and working to complete my collection of chaos, imprint reward cards, and riftwatchers. I'm mostly left with the most expensive card so it's taken a while for me to save up the funds to finish him off, especially those that are more of a niche card that aren't used as much.

Either way let's take a look at my productivity and returns this season and see what changes we need to make going forward.

As you can see overall I still had a decent win lost ratio. I'm still in a positive ratio of 1.2 wins to every loss my longest streak is about my average longer streak each month. The biggest thing to notice from my performance section is that I decided about the gold 3 at the end of the season to play for gold chests next season. I didn't notice much of a loss in SPS for my underleveled cards, but I'm already taking a pretty big hit in silver so my guess is that the increased pool for gold offsets any loss I have for undervalued cards. I'm still making very little from battles overall. Typically in the 0.1 to .2 range.

Season Rewards

Those are pretty terrible season rewards for me. My season rewards are 52% below my average season awards since I've started tracking the past six seasons. Not sure if I just had bad luck, or if this is the new trend and a new reality I have to learn to live with. I will say that I didn't get any packs this season which is a change as I have gotten packs post of the seasons at least one. I did get three gold foil cards but they were also just common and rares nothing special there. Overall $4.90 for 15 days playing everyday dailies and season chests is low enough where I would consider rentals might be a better return on investment.

Then again, that's actually about $10 a month in base level returns that I can roll back in. It also means that most of these cards have a chance to go up significantly to go to print. I also think that the price of SPS being so low has artificially deflated these earnings it has I take the SPs price listed by splex.gg. I might have to look into calculating my own to see probably going to impact SPS pricing is having.

Here is the decline of SPS - going down 60% might be having a large impact on my seasonal earnings.

SPS up 77%

I got super lucky with my SPS returns. My SPS from battles was down another 16% this season. I'm really struggling to hold an average. I went from earning 50 a season now down to 32 and I'm not sure what the cause is. I'm not sure if it's my inconsistent win streaks or if having under level cards is really having an impact

The SPS boost is coming from one massive chest where I got 37 SPS that help offset the decline in my battle SPS. I can't expect this to happen again so more than likely I'll decline even for the next month

Highlights

There are a few highlights I did get three gold foil cards along with that massive SPS chest and help to build my team and or rental deck that allows me to earn more income.

  • 2 GF Merdhampir
  • GF Venari Wavesmith
  • 37.724 SPS Chest

All of these are solid highlights, but nothing really impressive. Not a single card that is worth more than 35 cents standalone.

Earnings Stats and Graphs

image.png

As you can see my earnings per season have been dropping for the last two but probably have more to do with my RNG then with anything else. Getting multiple chaos packs or gold foil epic or skew the results tremendously. I'm going to guess that my average settles somewhere in the 8 to 9 dollar range. But we'll see what next season brings

My SPS earned per season has also been significantly decreasing with the exception of the most recent season due to that mass of chest of 37. I am concerned that my daily earnings are driving so hard as I need to keep stacking as much as poss as I can to enter tournaments and to hopefully participate in the community down the road

The last two graphs are basically just trying to show what I've gotten for cards and both cold front and common. My level of common cards have been pretty steady and even the rares have been pretty steady. You really can't predict epic legendary and you play a much bigger part in a value for me then the regular cards. Gold foils are really nice as you can tell season 96 had Goldsboro epic which skewed my results.

Win/Loss and Chests Won

image.png

Win lost tracking is just trying to track my account performance over time and see if my decrease or increase in earnings has to do with winning or losing more. And overall I think I'm a pretty consistent player and have had pretty consistent results with both how many matches I have played and my win loss. Hopefully the account improvements I'm making with legendaries and epics will help me win more matches and give me a better edge. Number of chests I've gotten per season have also been pretty steady and I think my biggest driver on silver chests is if I'm able to play more matches that are aligned with the daily challenge or if I need to abandon a daily challenge and just focus on the win and forget the bonus.

Overall summary

Overall in pretty concerned with my results this month considering the cost of my plane deck is fairly high. To only have a $5 return on a deck that costs $481 is concerning. That's only a 26% return and I am currently having success in a rental market at closer to a 30 to 40% return so I am having a fairly big potential loss by choosing to play versus just renting.

Moved to Gold the final Day

In an attempt to increase my rewards I have moved up to the gold league chests. This will mean I get significantly fewer chests at the end of the season, but I plan on staying in silver into the last few days so I will still have a hundred to 130 silver chests to open, no bronze chests, and I'm hoping to get somewhere in the 20 to 25 gold chest range.

Look at my account and tell me how to improve.

Go ahead take a look at my account and tell me where you think I can improve either my deck or my play to increase my returns. I'm really interested in hearing your thoughts as you might have figured out a better way to play than I have. I honestly don't play much wild other than if I need to increase my rank to get into a tournament or two.
