Hard but doable

Capturing pictures from the moon and stars it's not easy even for the specialist with all the right material. Imagine to do it only with a mobile phone and not even using a tripod.

These were taken in a very cloudy night. That have made it even more complicated. But I got this new phone and I have not yet tried to capture the moon with it.

And it did not disapoint. Samsung S23 Ultra have an awesome camera and great image quality.

I know the definition is not the best, no need to point that out. But stil, it is always fun to capture images like this.

Which one is your favourite.

My opinion.. Samsung isn't good for astro photography. Specially for moon. My old Huawei p40pro is taking better pictures tjan my Samsung galaxy s22 ultra.. And my s22 ultra makes better moon pictures than yours. Try to lean your phone on something to be steady. Than you will get much sharper image

I know. these were just really quick shoots. at 100x with me holding phone. For sure with a tripod and a timer would be way more clear and sharp as you said.
Also, this was a cloudy day with a lot of humidity in the air. But what you said is absolutely fine. Also, astro photography is not something I do or understand. As I explained, this was just a quick test and did it for the fun of it all

For a quick shot is perfect.. But im so disappointed in this their software. Cameras are probably ok but software that is processing that pic isn't good. They can do it better

For the first picture how much did you zoom?
And did Samsung finally solve their AI moon enhancer thingy or was it a huge rumor?

the first one it is at the max. 100x! When it comes to the AI enhancer, I have not read a lot about it. But I am pretty sure that was just a rumour.
