Is Social uprising coming?

The times of the coronavirus crisis, at least for us Italians, are now behind us.
Many predict an autumn of fire in social and economic terms.
Will it really happen?
It's hard to say.
Of course, we are perhaps the only European country to divide on everything.
Oppositions have campaigned even as the military vehicles paraded like hearses.
Confindustria has been a wall since the dawn of the emergency.
TV and newspapers are almost always on the hunt for political gossip.
The media arena has never stopped looking for blood on the hot sand.
In short, for many people the covid has been a show to carry on, with the usual schemes, usual controversies, usual irresponsibility.
Rather than being united and facing each other together, we showed a great deal of immaturity.
It was also seen in everyday life.
From everything will go well to we will be better, there is more and more evidence that everything could go wrong and that perhaps we will remain the same as before, only a little poorer.
Autumn is coming and the most catastrophic projections certainly do not make us sleep well.
The feeling is that it has been tergiversato too much and that the various companies, instead of innovating, instead of collecting the best from the difficulty, instead of exploiting those damn 3 months to build something, have wanted to play waiting, lull themselves on the redundancy fund (which everyone criticized but all meanwhile pocketed) and then hope for a return to the status quo.
Among potential closures of dozens of companies and unemployment that could spread, next autumn could be a social bomb.
Personally, I'm not at all sure.
I believe that if we scale back our consumerist lifestyle, we may be able to come out of it unscathed, but cleaner, more energetically renewed, more digital and even more humane.
If we don't, and we want a per-capita car that runs on its gasoline engine, with the new iphone between our fingers as we try to spend our modest salary, then autumn will be on fire.
And it is precisely the end of the redundancy fund in derogation that could lead to bloodletting.
For now, all of the layoffs are in a barrel of iron because the Italian government has imposed a block on layoffs until December 31, 2020.
The fear is that in January 2021 there could be millions of redundancies.
If that is the case, then the problems will be enormous.
But if this should happen, I'd be careful to point the finger.

An emergency, hopefully permanently closed, lasting 3 months, can not affect 30% of companies and employees (defeatist estimates but so widespread).
If so, it will mean that in these 11 months we will have done nothing to rethink the way we are together, the labor market, the redistribution of wealth.
We would have simply thrown out of the tower the weakest and the less fortunate, keeping for us the (little) wealth accumulated over the years.
It would be a defeat, not of a government, but of an entire people.

You're right: some projections are negative.
What are your suggestions?

I don't have any suggestions but I do have some observations/certainties.
In the face of such an enormous event, enormous reflections are needed.
We cannot think of solving these problems with "normal" answers, with "trivial" solutions.
Today we live in the "new world".
We need a "new" mentality.
Before, did we consider it normal to eat dinner in a restaurant twice a week?
From tomorrow we'll try to go there once.
Before, did we consider it important to spend 1000 euros for the smartphone?
Let's spend 200 euros from tomorrow.
Yesterday we were used to taking friends, wives, girlfriends, parents for granted?
Let's reconsider their importance in our lives and our importance in theirs.
Was cycling, walking, was it considered a loser thing?
Today we reevaluate open spaces, health, living in nature.
Some jobs should be abolished.
Certain mentalities must be censored forever.
Enough with the myth of PRODUCTIVITY.
Enough with the myth of RESULTS.
The post-covid society must change values, change the principles on which it will be based.
Smart Working, Solidarity, Green Economy, more free time, less working hours.

You're right: it's good to go from low value to high values.
Our rulers imposed measures for the new normal because of a virus.
i have a curiosity:
What's the proof for the virus?
