(RP) Sheets of paper are very useful in LE VILLAGE.

They are most often used to record contest entries.
They were also used to sketch decorations for Easter eggs.
The inn's cook uses them to record new recipes, including his famous honey pastries and the drink he calls Milkshake.
A rather strange astronomer used to fill them with cabalistic drawings.
And I think some people use them to smoke a kind of herb.

Yesterday we honored the papers for a contest in which I had to guess how many I was going to collect in the village streets this morning.
I kind of expected it, but the villagers played a joke on me and scattered them all over the place on purpose!
I found 71 of them, which is really excessive, as if that's all I had to do...
But I'm a good sport and I appreciate humor.

I'll try to redistribute all these papers that now fill my pockets and maybe find a new use for them.

(RP) Les feuilles de papier ont une grande utilité dans LE VILLAGE.

Elles servent le plus souvent à noter les participations aux concours.
Elles ont servi aussi à esquisser les croquis de décoration pour les œufs de Pâques.
Le cuisinier de l'auberge s'en sert pour noter de nouvelles recettes dont ses fameuses patisseries au miel ou sa boisson qu'il appelle Milkshake.
Un astronome un peu étrange les remplissait de dessins cabalistiques.
Et je crois que certains s'en servent pour fumer une sorte d'herbe.

Hier nous avons mis à l'honneur les papiers pour un concours dans lequel il fallait deviner combien j'allais en ramasser dans les rues du village ce matin.
Je m'y attendais un peu, le villageois m'ont fait une farce et ont fait exprès d'en éparpiller un peu partout!
J'en ai trouvé 71 c'est vraiment abusé, comme si je n'avais que ça à faire...
Mais je suis bon joueur et j'apprécie l'humour.
