The Place I Didn't Know I Needed

I did not plan to stay long.

I just wanted somewhere to go after class.

Away from school. Away from the noise.

When I got here, I just sat down.

The trees were moving. The sea was quiet.

I did not check my phone.

I just looked at the water for a while.

Maybe that is why I like places like this.

Nothing special. Nothing fancy.

But somehow, it made me feel a little better. 🌊🍃
