Life with my Phone
Good day guys!
Let me share with you one of my favorite possessions that I have right now. It's my cellphone that I bought last July 8, 2019. This was actually my very first time getting a phone using my hard earned cash. Let me tell you a secret...... It's really worth it! So I decided to have a photo shoot of it.
This is one item that I bring with me everyday. To be honest, it's been incorporated to my life already. This phone wakes me up every morning, I bring this at work, play games with it, message other people, video chat and take photos. Taking photographs was also one reason I considered buying this phone. I'm getting attached to this phone already but not to attached that I can't live without it.
This phone made my life easier. I am able to keep myself updated reading some of the news and updates on what's happening in the world. It's easier to contact my family and friends. There are a lot of different kinds of apps that entertains me and helps me with my daily life, like food deliveries, email, weather updates, alarms, online shopping, and storing Data
I couldn't imagine what the world will be like without cellphones. It make me think how did people survive without it especially the individuals who are far away from each other. But I really appreciate that we don't have to go through those problems anymore except when you don't have signal, data or WiFi.
I also know that there are drawbacks on having a phone. Based on my experience this phone hinders my sleep sometimes, whenever I get to addicted to playing a game, reading or watching videos I tend to sleep at a later time. I also noticed that some people may spend more time using it than socializing with others. Another downside in owning a phone is that I have to spend every week to load myself to be able to call, text and use data.
Let me share with you the first time I got my phone
I actually ordered it online from a shop from Shopee called winmishop.
They delivered it using a courier called LBC, it was neatly wrapped and protected.
The owner of the shop was kind enough to give me a lot of freebies, which I was really thankful for.
Here's a video of me unboxing my Phone for the very first time.
I had to buy additional accessories for it. A Case and tempered glass. I wouldn't risk it anymore because I dropped my previous phone.
I dropped it and my phone screen got damaged wherein 1/4 of the screen only works. I also learned that you should always back up your files and contacts.
Here's a sample photo of my phones camera. We used it during our team building at night. The clouds just looks so cool.
Thanks for reading and Have a great day!
All photos used in this post is taken and owned by me.

And you've done a good job of the shoot :) Took it on vacation here and there :)
Thank you so much! I really wish I could take it somewhere right now haha.
Nice phone, the Redmi line is really decent choice!
Oh yes! I haven't regret buying this phone. Thanks for dropping by
I loved your photography, especially the second stone one.
BTW my younger brother got the same phone!
It was actually my brothers idea
Oh wow! That's cool I hope that he's enjoying it.
Thanks for dropping by :)
Yes, phones are a great wonder, and it's easy to think about how people did without them. The sad thing about them is that they're used to spy on us and control us.
The night picture is very nice and the clouds are a highlight of that shot. How long did you have it before you dropped it? It looks like you have a sturdy case on it now.
Man, I really have a bad feeling about the spying and controlling part because one thing that I noticed whenever I use social media, my ads seem to be following my searches. I'm just scared of all the apps
We all were shocked when we saw the photos, especially the clouds. When I dropped it before it already had a stock case from Redmi. I'm loving the case right now.
Thanks for dropping by and stay safe!
I can tell you are a little younger than me. :) The first cellular phone I saw was in a late 80s Mercedes Coupe. The switchgear took up the entire trunk. By the early 90s I carried a Motorola Bag Phone for my work. Bought my first cellphone in the early 2000s when I started caretaking my parents.
But you are absolutely correct. I have no idea how I'd get along without my phone today. It's an amazing change.
Oh wow, I've never seen a phone that huge before. I can't imagine having to bring that everywhere you go haha.
Technology is really amazing, it really makes our lives a lot easier. I hope that we just don't get too dependent on them.
Thank you so much for dropping by and may you stay safe always :)
Wishing you many months of enjoyment, capturing life and having good use out of the new phone. Yes these implements have become exceptionally handy to have.
Looks like a great phone, especially the night shot.
I’m from the generation way before cell phones and we certainly didn’t keep in touch with family and friends as much as now. There are many advantages to have this communication at one’s fingertips but the sometimes getting into a habit of constant phoning and texting everything one does can get annoying to others when busy with other things.
Yes, it's actually a great phone. I have no regrets buying it. I was also surprised with the night shot because that was the first time I tried it,
That's really one advantage with technology now, Communication. But yes, I really agree with you about the habit of constant phoning, I'm guilty of that also.
Thanks for dropping by and stay safe always
Great shots @sgbonus! A new phone is such a treat, spending time discovering all of the new features, fun stuff. Smart to purchase the screen protector😃
I guess you could say smartphones are a necessary evil. However, yes you’re right, you have to practice self-control with these super high-tech devices.
I can still remember the days when cellphones first came out, I actually believed it was an unnecessary invention and I would never own one! How wrong was I, can't go anywhere without it today 😉
You captured the process well!
You've taken some really imaginative photos of it! Really nice.
It is incredible just how useful a tool phones have become. I have a hard time thinking of life without mine, either.
Hello @sgbonus,
Great post about your cellphone. I hope you to joy it very much.
This is probably the first time I see someone taking photos of their phone. I think it was a great idea. I loved the picture among the green branches. Phones have become an integral part of our lives. I, too, depend a lot on my phone. My income I owe to it and what it allows me to do.
Yout phone certainly has a great camera. I'dlove to buy an upgrade of mine. I love photography, but can't do much with the one I have and still need to learn to use some apps.
It's scary how dependant we become with our phones.
I know I am.
wao, beautiful and powerful your phone, take some quality pictures so you show. thanks for sharing the experience with him and the details. My support and a hug for you. @sgbonus
I am so happy it brings you joy. I'm at the point where I turn my phone off most of the day, especially at night. I do sleep much better, and I read actual books again instead of perusing the internet before sleep. I'm trying to go back to the way things were, using a landline that people leave messages on instead of instant contact. The world just does not support that anymore!
I wish you continued enjoyment with your phone.
Haha! These shots are great and I loved the unboxing! LOL It could have been a stop dance!
You really did an awesome job on the presentation of this post!

I need a new phone after the lockdown is over. 🤞
Nice looking phone. I got a screen protector for my phone, and have dropped it several times! It is cracked but still works 🐝
Yes, I can't imagine a life without a phone anymore. It is just amazing how much one can do with a phone these days!!
Nice phone! The camera seems like it's great quality!
It's a good thing you got access to the phone you dreamed of with your own effort. Well done!
What did we do before we had cell phones to manage all our mobile life??
What a nice tribute to your phone! Unfortunately I live in an area where there is no cell phone coverage for even text so I never got into smart phones but this makes me realize how usefull they really are!
I love the picture of your phone among the foliage. That is kind of a romantic shot! Ha ha. Great post. I think many of us feel very strongly about our mobile devices, but we're possibly afraid to be so honest about it. As I read your post, I was thinking to myself "Oh yeah, I love that about my phone! It's so... useful. And cute! And it entertains me at any hour of the day or night!"
Nice shots! Before the smartphones we used to remember a lot of things. Now we rely on them heavily due to the multitude of apps available.
How are things? Yes I do believe it is hard without a phone this generation. Uses for me
Stay safe my friend
