Transformation can be as subtle as the chameleon blending into a tree or as spectacular as the emergence of the butterfly, the cycle of life brings constant growth. — ShadowsPub

The chameleon survives by shifting and adapting to its surroundings to blend in. People often mask their true self to blend in. They may do this as self-protection or as deception.

The butterfly goes through a dramatic transformation as it evolves from caterpillar into a vibrant butterfly.

As my life cycle wheel rolls along I’ve found myself like the chameleon with subtle changes, almost unnoticed without reflection. Then I find myself surprised with me.

I’ve always had a belief system rooted in faith in a higher power viewed as God. My faith has given me more resiliency when life happens. Instead of stressing over ‘why’ and ‘how’, I can usually shift to “it is what it is” and move forward.

Over the last year I’ve broadened my spiritual perspective into seeing “God” as one term for the universal energy source. There’s freedom in dissolving barriers between spiritual traditions. It turns “them” into us, one people, different perspectives.

As I discovered my innershift I’m more like the butterfly transforming. What started out with generative art and creating visual representations of words has evolved into these reflections that I’m doing every day based on a single word. A mindful exploration.

I’m shifting from keeping thoughts, ideas and feelings to myself to being more willing to share my writings with you. I hope they resonate with you and contribute to your transformation journey.

We are docile to changes. Our senses, skin, flesh and bones can feel it and adapt to it. We cannot avoid it and it is favorable, since thanks to it we become something better.
