A Day at Kimsta Green Organic Farm | Exploring Nature's Bounty

My friend's big brother messaged me about growing vegetables naturally in Stockholm. However, I was so busy that I completely forgot about it. Then, Mr. Aviraj sent a note explaining how he had started his own organic vegetable farm in Stockholm. Because my entire family enjoys hanging out in places like that, I was really excited to check it out. However, we had to wait for the heavy rain to stop as it was pouring so heavily. Ultimately, on a chilly Saturday, we travelled to Mr. Aviraj's Kimsta Green farm, which is located in Kimsta village and close to Arlanda International Airport in Stockholm.

When we arrived there we realised why Mr. Aviraj was so proud of his farm. We strolled slowly among vibrant vegetable rows, a sight that pleased all of us. The kids were thrilled to discover how tiny seeds could grow into giant plants that produced enormous pumpkins. We selected our favourite produce to take home, making it feel like a treasure hunt.

Surrounded by the bounty of nature, we absorbed the teachings. It was fascinating to watch the growing cycle from seed to harvest. It was like watching magic happen before our very eyes.

However, it was more than simply vegetables, it was about establishing a connection with the planet and realising where our food originates from. Mr. Aviraj gave insights into sustainable farming, noting that every leaf and particle of soil has a unique story to tell.

While it was nice to bring those fresh vegetables home, the knowledge we learned about the origins of our food was invaluable. It was enlightening to learn the significance of organic vegetables and how it affects our beliefs and well-being.

Taking those fresh veggies home was awesome, especially the green chilies I toss those in my lunches and dinners all the time. And let me tell you, those yellow zucchini were out of this world tasty! Oh, and the beets? Delicious! We ended up getting a whopping 20 kg of veggies!

One could see Mr. Aviraj's enthusiasm for easily accessible organic food. In addition to cultivating vegetables, he advances people's awareness of what constitutes a healthy diet. Get in touch with him if you're interested in this experience or if you need some fresh produce.

His idea of an inexpensive organic food system leading to a healthy future is incredibly motivating. Our visit to his farm was about more than just picking vegetables, it was about accepting the mental and emotional journey that comes from Earth to plate.
