Am I the only one who is working from home?

It was snowing a lot in Stockholm. My car was hidden under snow. The transport to work is delayed because of the snow. So I am working from home and sitting near the window, watching the street with all the cars stuck in the snow and people walking through it.

What is the weather like in Stockholm now?

The weather in Stockholm is currently snowy and cold. The roads are covered in snow and many public transportation options are not running. This has caused many people to work from home today.

What are public transport issues like in Stockholm when it snows?

Public transport in Stockholm can be problematic during winter due to the heavy snowfall. This can cause delays and cancellations of trains, buses, and trams. The best way to avoid problems is to plan ahead and check the status of public transport before heading out.

Am I the only one who is working from home?

Despite the challenges that come with working from home in the winter, I don't think I'm the only one who is doing it. In fact, I know a few people who have made the switch to working from home full-time in order to avoid the cold weather and unreliable public transportation

Of course, working from home isn't for everyone. Some people thrive in a traditional office setting and find it difficult to focus when they're at home. But for those of us who are used to working remotely or are simply more comfortable working in our own space, winter can be a great time to hunker down and get some work done without having to brave the elements.

Winter in Stockholm can be tough, but it's also incredibly beautiful.

I love the way the city looks when it's blanketed in snow, and I always feel so lucky when I get to experience a few days of it. This winter has been especially challenging, with two days of snow and my car being hidden under all of it, but I've made the best of it by working from home and enjoying the extra time with my family.

@shahzad-ansari,

Hello, my friend. Thank you for choosing to post in my Community! As we discussed... you shared a piece of your daily life with us, and the struggles from working at home combined with the "not so convenient" travel conditions.

From your post:

This is most certainly, a thoughtful post, and your take on what's just as important as working... Family!

Thank you again, for posting in my Community. I look forward to possibly seeing more of your posts!

This morning I was looking for the right community to post my blog to. I didn't know I would meet you @wesphilbin through The Terminal's general chat. And in your community I will have the opportunity to write.
I have been using social media for a long time and always thought that this virtual world is far from reality. I have more than 4000 friends on Facebook but no engagement at all. The way people like you help newbies on Hive is truly commendable. And while living in the virtual world, you get a chance to meet the real person.
Thank you very much for reading my blog and guiding me. And I will incorporate the suggestions you gave me in my next blog.

@shahzad-ansari,

I certainly appreciate your kind words!! We've been helping folks at The Terminal since 2018... Sure... there are many other awesome communities and initiatives that also help new folks. But I am kind of partial, considering I am a P.R. Mod lol.

I am not saying there is really anything wrong with Facebook... or any other Social Media sites. The key word here is engagement. Just like Community. Hope you are having a good day today...
