The Swedish Cricket Federation Website Is Finally Rebuilt

The Swedish Cricket Federation website was in need of a facelift. In this blog post, I walk through the process of redesigning their site and show how I made it more interactive and modern with lots of dynamic content.

Svenska Cricketförbundet – Swedish Cricket Federation

Introduction

The Swedish Cricket Federation (SCF) is the national governing body for cricket in Sweden. It is responsible for the promotion and development of the game at all levels, from grassroots to international.

The SCF website is the primary source of information for the cricket community in Sweden. It is a platform for communication and interaction between players, clubs, coaches, and administrators. The website also provides news, fixtures, results, and other important information about Swedish cricket.

The SCF website has been rebuilt from scratch and is now better than ever. The new site is responsive, modern, and packed with features. I sat down with SCF representative to learn more about the process of rebuilding the website and what it means for Swedish cricket moving forward.

What is the Swedish Cricket Federation?

The Swedish Cricket Federation (SCF) was founded in 1991 and is based in Stockholm. The SCF is a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC), the European Cricket Council (ECC) and the Swedish Olympic Committee.

The SCF is responsible for the development and promotion of cricket in Sweden. It organises cricket competitions, provides training and support to clubs and players, and works to increase participation in the sport. The SCF also manages the national cricket team and represents Sweden at ICC events.

The new website for the Swedish Cricket Federation is now live. The site has been completely rebuilt from scratch and features a new design, improved functionality and a range of new content.

We hope that you enjoy using the new site and that it helps you to keep up-to-date with all the latest news and information about cricket in Sweden.

What did I do to their website?

I rebuilt their website from the ground up, using a modern content management system (CMS) and responsive design. I also migrated all of their content from the old site, and implemented new features such as a document bank, post achieve and women cricket page.

How did it turn out?

The new website is faster, more user-friendly, and better organized. It is also mobile-friendly, which is important given that over 90% of website traffic now comes from mobile devices.

What do you think they should do next?

The next step would be to implement a digital marketing strategy to drive traffic to the new website. This could include SEO, social media, and paid advertising.

Reasons for changing the old site.

The Swedish Cricket Federation (SCF) has finally rebuilt its website after years of neglect. The new site is a vast improvement over the old one, which was outdated and difficult to navigate.

Old website

There are several reasons for the SCF's decision to change its website. First and foremost, the old site was simply not up to par with contemporary standards. It was difficult to find information, and the design was dated.

Secondly, the SCF wanted to improve its online presence in order to attract more visitors. The new website is much more user-friendly and visually appealing, which should help draw in more cricket fans.

Lastly, the SCF needed a website that could better handle the increasing amount of traffic that it has been receiving lately. The old site often crashed or ran slowly, making it a frustrating experience for users. The new website is built on a more robust platform that can handle larger volumes of traffic without issue.

In short, the SCF's decision to rebuild its website was driven by a desire to improve the user experience, attract more visitors, and ensure that the site can handle increasing traffic levels effectively.

Future of the new website

The new site is a vast improvement over the old one, with a sleek design, improved functionality, and a wealth of new features.

The most important thing for the future of the site is that it is now mobile-friendly. This was a major problem with the old site, as it was not designed to be viewed on smaller screens. The new site is responsive and will adjust to any screen size. This is crucial in today's market, as more and more people are using their phones and tablets to browse the web.

Another important aspect of the new website is that it has been built with SEO in mind. The old website was very poorly optimized, meaning that it was hard for people to find it in search engines. The new website has been designed from the ground up to be as visible as possible in search results.

Finally, the new website includes a blog section. This was something that was lacking on the old site, and it is something that can really help to engage readers and keep them coming back for more content. The blog will be updated regularly with news, articles, and other content about Swedish cricket.

Overall, the future of the new website looks very promising. With its improved design, mobile-friendliness, and SEO optimization, it should be able to attract more visitors than ever before. And with its blog section, it will be able to keep them coming back
