Human activities cause rapid and widespread environmental changes that affect living things. Many species of animals and plants are at risk of extinction. Such species are called endangered species. One of the major causes of species becoming endangered is habitat loss. Human cut down trees in forest for harvesting. Excessive hunting arte also the cause of species becoming endangered. Some of the endangered species of Pakistan are snow leopard. Indus river dolphin, markhor etc.
