Happy Mother's Day, My love!
We've all been celebrating Mother's Day for years now but very few know the history behind the origin of observing this day. Today, I was a little curious to know what lead to celebrating Mother's Day and who found it.
I was fascinated to learn that the present mother's day celebration dates back to 1908 when Anna Jarvis of Philadelphia, organised a memorial for her mother. Eventually by 1914, every state in the US began to observe this day and declared it a national holiday. This day is celebrated as a way to honour all the mothers across the world for everything they do for their family and society.
So I'm taking this opportunity to write this little letter to my mom on this special occasion:
Dear Amma, you have been the definition of unconditional provider of love and care to me. You're the glue that holds us together. Your little efforts to keep us content by putting yourself after us is noticed. You have been my constant pillar of support through thick and thin. Whatever I am today, I owe it to you Amma. Maybe I don't say it enough, but I love you and I'm nothing without you. If there's something that I wholeheartedly wish for, then it is for your health and happiness. You're the first person I look for as soon as I come home and it feels a little less home in your absence. Thank you for constantly trying to provide me a better life than yours. Thank you for fighting for me on days I couldn't fight for myself. Thank you for being my biggest supporter of all my achievements. Thank you for helping me stay grounded. Thank you for being my biggest cheerleader and mentor and the list can go on. But on this day, I wish you a very Happy Mother's Day. 🌎❤️
Shoutout to all the mothers out there trying to be the best moms. I hope you give enough credit to yourself and that you realise how strong you are. I hope you're able to look yourself in the mirror and feel proud of how far you've come in this journey of your motherhood. I hope you're being easy on yourself and realise how much love of your own you deserve. I hope you grow and glow through your flaws and accept yourself. I hope you're able to put yourself above everything. I hope you never try to fit yourself in the society’s definition of motherhood. And above all, I hope you love yourself❤️

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?
