You must be familiar with this type of plant. Indonesian people know this plant as "Rambusa". but biologists say this plant is a "Feotida Passiflora". This plant is often found in the bush because it is a wild plant. This plant is not liked by animals, including caterpillars, it is proven that no Rambusa leaves are damaged by being eaten by caterpillars.
Stems and Leaves
Stems spread up to 5 meters and hairy as well as on the leaves there are feathers. The leaves are triangular with variations on the right and left so that they look harmonious.
Flower
Rambusa plants have very beautiful flowers. From the appearance of the flowers, I judged that the Rambusa plant was in the same family as the marquisha.
Fruit
The young fruit is green, after ripening it turns yellow. The fruit is wrapped in nets so that the shape of the fruit is not visible from the outside. I tried squeezing the leaves and the fruit turned out to have an unpleasant and pungent aroma.

Kalian pasti mengenal tumbuhan jenis ini. Orang Indonesia mengenal tumbuhan ini dengan sebutan Rambusa. akan tetapi Ahli biologi bilang tumbuhan ini termasuk passiflora feotida. Tumbuhan ini banyak dijumpai di semak-semak karena termasuk tumbuhan liar. Tumbuhan ini tidak disukai hewan termasuk ulat, hal ini terbukti daun Rambusa tidak ada yang rusak karena dimakan ulat.
Batang dan Daun
Batang menjalar mencapai 5 meter dan berbulu sebagaimana juga pada daun terdapat bulu. Daun berbentuk segi tiga dengan variasi bagian kanan dan kiri sehingga terlihat serasi.
Bunga
Tumbuhan Rambusa memiliki bunga yang sangat cantik. Dari tampilan bunganya saya menilai tumbuhan Rambusa satu famili dengan marquisha.
Buah
Buah muda berwarna hijau, setelah matang berubah warna menjadi kuning. Buah dibungkus dengan jaring-jaring sehingga bentuk buah tidañ kelihatan dari luar. Saya mencoba meremas daun dan buahnya ternyata mengeluarkan aroma yang tidak sedap dan menyengat.
Dipercaya Sebagai Obat Hypertensi dan Penyakit Jantung
Setelah ilmu kedokteran bertambah maju, banyak jumlah dokter ahli dan dokter spesialis penyakit jantung dan pembuluh darah. Pada umumnya semua rumah sakit memiliki dokter spesialis jantung dan memberikan obat secara medis terukur berdasarkan hasil diagnose. Tetapi dibalik itu banyak penderita penyakit jantung dan hypertensi yang mencari obat alternatif, antara lain mengkonsumsi buah tumbuhan Rambusa, terutama bagi masyarakat yang tinggaĺ di pedesaan.
Belum Ada uji Klinis
Meskipun ada penderita penyakit jantung dan pembuluh darah mengkonsumsi buah tumbuhan Rambusa sebagai obat, tapi kalian perlu tahu bahwa buah tumbuhan Rambusa belum ada uji klinis secara medis, apakah benar buah tumbuhan itu berpotensi sebagai obat jantung dan hypertensi.
Berbeda halnya dengan kulit manggis umpamanya, berdasarkan hasil uji klinis kulit manggis berkhasiat untuk obat penyembuhan penyakit kanker, bahkan sekarang dengan mudah kita menemukan kemasannya dalam bentuk kapsul.
Khasiat Buah Rambusa
Dilansir dari beberapa sumber, ternyata buah tumbuhan Rambusa yang sudah kuning dan matang mengandung zat besi yang sangat bermanfaat untuk meproduksi sel darah merah sehingga melindungi kita dari teridap penyakit animea.
Khsaiat lain, buah Rambusa mengandung vitamin C yang sangat bermanfaat bagi kesehatan tubuh.
Meskipun dilaporkan bahwa buah Rambusa mempunyai khasiat, tetapi belum ditemukan jurnal hasil uji klinis yang akurat, sehingga yang terbaik bagi kita harus waspada mengkonsumsinya.
