dCity Update: 3 Dice Packs in 3 Splinterfests

That's right! I've run three Splinterfests so far in my dCity and I've gotten three Dice packs. The odds are supposed to only be 2%. I got one on the first event, zero on the second, and two on the third. That's pretty good for supposedly 2% odds.

Rising Star Update: Anyone need a bunch of chrome tuners?

I decided to try getting the Flying V style guitar body that I mentioned in a previous post. I'm not having the best luck so far, as you can see by the screenshot below. I got the same part four times in a row! When I finally do get the guitar body that I want, I'll probably be able to make five other guitars if I wanted to.

That's the highest I can make it with the cards I currently have, but as I mentioned before, I'm seeing how far I can get using rented/delegated cards and relying on what I earn from playing to cover the costs of the rentals. I'm usually doing most of them for just one day and focusing on only two splinters for the most part. One of them will be whatever my quest was, but the other can just be one that I want to have as a backup.

The new rental system seems to be popular and for good reason. I love how easy it is just to get some cards for 24 hours and then move on. They're not on cooldown or any of that silly stuff. It was kind of a pain to rent before. You COULD technically do them for really short periods of time, but that wasn't a good deal for the card owners.

As someone who is renting out my own cards, a good majority of them are rented out. Some of the cards that aren't rented are ones I simply need to adjust the prices on. I set all of the prices pretty high on the first day and am walking a lot of them back down. The percentage of cards I have rented out out of the ones I have available is much higher than it ever was when I tried to rent cards out with the first rental system.

Crap! I almost forgot to send this today. I watched a movie with my wife tonight and was just about to head to bed and then I remembered I never posted this! Well, it's a little incomplete, but you get the idea. The movie was The Tomorrow War and it was quite entertaining. We didn't end up going mini golfing today, but we did get some delicious burgers from a wonderful place called Culver's.
